Although I imagine most of you are quite open minded about sex I was wondering if you LIT women would share your views on women and porn with me. Are you watching porn (movies) and if so, what genre do you prefer (or even which porn stars, what kind of 'action' etc).

If you don't like watching porn movies yourself, do you mind if your partner does so; do you feel comfortable with that?

Do you believe in the "porn especially made for women" thing? There are films out there with that 'label' I know.

What do you think about the women (and men) who are working in the porn industry? Would you be friends with them and feel comfortable enough to tell other friends who they are and what they do?

I know what you mean about the oral scenes. I find that they are becoming somewhat scarse. We (my BF and I) have quite the porn collection but I find that there is a lot of stuff out there that is not very 'creative' and 'diverse' at the moment. If you don't know what to look for you end up with scenes of girls showing their ass to the camera and next thing you know there's two dicks in her, while she's screaming and moaning from stroke one as if she's cumming already. Not realistic and not very sexy in my opinion.

Oh I love them In the beginning I used to watch the ones simply to laugh at the ridiculous "plots" (example - Beetlejism). Now however.. I just enjoy heterosexual encounters (any type, anal or plain ol' vanilla or 'other').

Not at all.. I think there's no set 'market' for porn. I browse the shelf and if something catches my eye and looks like it'd be something I enjoy.. I'll get it.

My view on people that are in the industry are the very same as my view on those that are gay/bisexual. So long as they're happy and don't push their views on me... (meaning: I don't tell you your way of life is 'wrong', so don't do it to me.) then I'm happy FOR them.
And yes, I would be friends with them, and NO, not ashamed of it either. A good friend of mine is bisexual (male) and it doesn't bother me one bit.. he's a terrific friend.

That last comment (about the CV) is hilarious! And I'm all with you on the editing, it IS boring sometimes. Also I think sex scenes are too long sometimes. Although my BF and I almost never have (ahum) sessions under 30 minutes (2 to 3 hours more likely) I find it annoying to look at two (or more) people pounding each other in the same manner for 20 minutes. Well, leaqve to me to suggest a studio and then draw a blank on actual titles to suggest... I think with Elegant Angel and DVSX, I found their titles to be high quality, varied and there is a lot involvement from women behind the scenes. Belladonna did a lot of work for Elegant Angel, if memory serves, and she always seems to be a winner in terms of passion, intensity and variety, with men and women. I think in terms of seduction, teasing and passion, I find that they often have this, but then again this is a subjective view - what I find seductive or passionate, you might find still jumps into the action too quickly.

It's tough to recommend porn, especially from a man to a woman. Even though my wife has not actually watched any of my porn, she always jokes that she doesn't like a story or build-up to the action, instead noting that porn should just get to the action ASAP!
