What kind of message does it send men to hear women say at length that they're looking for just the kind of man they've worked their whole lives to become only to watch them drool over a guy whose qualities they may or may not know, but who looks good? This isn't an isolated thing at all. It puts the word in the ehad of those guys that the work really didn't matter. They could get more attention, of even truly quality women, by spending their time in the gym alone.

Guys don't necessarily operate on that level. Virtually every man in the world who is truthful will tell you that looks do in some way matter a great deal to them. Every women to whom they're attracted, even if the major part of the attraction is who she is, has something about her the guy found instantly physically attractive. We're very honest about that. It may not be right, but it's direct.

I used to think I was a great judge of a person's character till I met my ex. He was clever at covering up what an asshole he was
till he was convinced I was emotionally involved.
Then he showed his true colours. I was young and naive.

I find people interesting though on a flippiant note.
I have met men who are in gangs, tough, tattoed, muscley
mean looking assholes yet they have given me their seat on the bus, helped me carry my groceries, let me go into a store first or before them in a queue. It can be hard to tell who is an asshole.

I put up with an asshole for 7 years, thinking I loved him and things would get better. Then I saw the light. I didn't deserve what he did to me and moved on, he hasn't and is more of an asshole.
