Woman thought lost at sea?

There was story that revolves around a woman who was thought lost at sea. She's found but has no memory of her name or that she's married and has a daughter. She finds love with a new man. They're celebrating an anniversary (I think) at this tropical resort when her first husband, who owns the resort, sees her and triggers her memories. Very emotional story about how the woman and her second husband cope with the revelations.

Yeah, he pulled it because he was turning it into an actual novel based on the story. Don't know if he ever finished.
