Wolf Call (open)

"Hello, Terran, my name is Calista." Looking at this man and trying to discern if he is a hunter or not. "But as for a phone I am afraid that I can't help you. I just thought you were more lost and town is back that way about five miles. I stay not far from here but I don't know if anyone else could help either but I can ask."

She looked towards the direction of camp and debated if she should call them. "Let me see if I can get some of the men in my camp to come help you." She offered as he seemed nice enough.

She walked away and headed back toward the camp as she approached to males stopped her. She told them about the man near the road and that he was stranded. Remarking about his tire that she noticed had burst and that it seemed that he didn't have another. A wolf's howl echoed in the night air and soon Calista returned with a man rolling a tire out in front of him.

Her companion never said anything, he just looked at the jack and then aided in getting the automoblie up high enough to switch tires. When he finished he glanced at Calista and glanced towards camp.

"Good Luck Terran. Safe Journey!" Calista waved and started to follow the quiet man. Holding Vadoma close to her heart and rocking her back to sleep.

"Yeah, Thank you..." Terran just stood there for a moment, a bit confused about the whole encounter. Something shivered up his spine, but he couldn't quite place it at all.
She was walking away. He wanted to know more about her. What camp? Who was she? Why was she with these men? What was that howling?
She had helped him. Like some sort of angel, and now she was going back into the moonlight of the desert.
"Wait," He wanted to stop her, but had nothing to stop her for, "Callista. I..."
Standing there, awkward, as the silence lingered on him. He wanted to say something, but couldn't.
"I... Uhhh. Thank you again."
He smiled, embarrassed. With something of crow on his face, he got into the car, and started it up.

Calista stopped past way to camp and looked back. He had a few features that she had admired. Yet in the back of her mind she realized that Mertshak might not approve of her bringng in someone so soon after becoming a part of the clan.

She also wondered if he'd notice the small note that she slipped into the car.

I hope that you will remember me, if I should ever appear at your doorstep. Calista Dracul

"Come Vadoma, it is time to get back to bed." Heading towards the camper that was now to be her home.

Mertshak Yancer

The Flames Alpha male noted his mate's silence and lay down beside her.

"Come, it is late...there is much to do tomorrow. Let us sleep..."

He wrapped an arm around her and settled his face against Moonfire's neck and shoulder.

With a sigh Moonfire let herself slip into sleep if only for a short time. Feeling and smelling Mertshak was enough to lull her alseep.

Mertshak Yancer

Mertshak awoke sometime in the night and felt his new mate beside him. He stroked her shoulder gently and then drifted back to sleep.

The next morning he awoke and gently shook Moonfire awake.

"Dearest, it's time to go. Will you stand beside me as I enter the lion's den? We can leave one of the elders in charge of the camp for the day."

Moonfire nodded and sat up in the bed. As Mertshak's mate it was her duty to go with him when other Alpha's mate and a sing of loyalty and if needed backup.
