No I was adopted by Latvians as a 6 month old ( my birth parents enjoyed heroin a lil too much during and after they had me ) which put me in the care system as a new born… I was then adopted by amazing parents who so happened be Latvian! I simultaneously learnt English and Latvian. (Latvian at home, English at nursery!)

That is excellent! My best friend growing up spoke Spanish growing up, so I naturally learned quite a bit with how much time I spent at his house. The first words I learned were definitely when his mother would yell at us for getting into trouble! Whoops!
