We are currently under a winter storm warning. They are predicting 5-8 inches of snow and ice starting this evening and continuing all day tomorrow.

What the fuck? Don't the weather gods know the first day of spring is right around the corner?

Unfortunately, puddles is what we have plenty of here in the Dallas area. Anywhere from six to twelve inches of rain, flash floods, at least one person killed, more rain on the way, and some old guy with a boat full of animals just went floating by.

It's been a very good weekend to stay inside and cuddle, just so long as you're not sitting in a puddle.

All that moisture is headed our way, except our temp is in the lower thirties.

When we caught the news about the snow and ice we made a quick shopping list and my husband went to the store for emergency groceries.

We're set.

Just gonna hang on. The latest report said 5-10 inches tomorrow, and an additional 3-5 tomorrow night.

OMFG. Sarahh, I'm glad you posted this. I had no idea until just now!!! 6-10 inches tonight!! I'm supposed to travel on Wednesday, within the state, to tour a college campus. Goddamn it. This is supposed to be Spring Break. I really hate our state, sometimes. Oh hell -- most of the time. The weather is so fucking schizophrenic here!! [/rant]
