Garbriel gave Amy a tired smile and rubbed the top of her head. He started to spoon out a portion of the fry-up onto her plate. She was so small and quiet that he found it hard not to think of her as a kid sister, though he knew she wasn't much younger than he was. It was the times that she did something completely outrageous or mischevious that reminded him that she wasn't really a kid.

He was in the process of knitting her some sweaters. They were a suprise for her birthday. She had always been cold last winter. Gabriel could care less about the cold. It was probably something to do with the experiments, but he had discovered that he could lay outside all night, naked, in the snow, and still feel comfortable and warm.

"You do realize it's about three in the morning? I thought I was the only one up. You couldn't sleep?" She looked a little to fresh to have been too sleep at all.

Name: Luke

Age: 19

Looks: Tall and thin 6' 4" and very wiry pale features, blond hair and eyes such a pale blue they are nearly colorless.

Wing color: Ivory with pure white highlights.

Clothing: Tending toward dark and baggy in public places. Wings are often folded and hidden by a hoody if he needs to go out while baggy clothes hide how gaunt he looks. Around the lake though he just tends to wear shorts.

Other: Has scars on his chest and back from repeated surgeries done by Dr. Jake which he has conected to form designs and take them as his own.

Bio: I remember the accident the sound of crumpling metal and the shower of glass. How it felt to be dragged out of the car by a kindly rescuer then watch as he poured gasoline into the car to make sure it would burn. The feeling of trying to run then being easily caught to be sold to the doctor. I don't like my memories I wold replace them if I could.

Waking up I could smell food which would be nice hopefully there might be some left by the time I got to the kitchen. Throwing on some shorts and padding down the stairs to the kitchen following my nose.

"Morning Luke. Pull up a chair." Gabriel got up and dished up some more of the fry up. Luke was always a bottomless pit at any time of the day. Why they were all up at three... he glanced at the clock... no four thirty in the morning was beyond him, but it was to late to go back to bed. He figured he cook some more eggs for the others. They were sure to get up at some point. After that, he definitely wanted to go jump in a lake. He smiled to himself at his one bad joke. At least he hadn't verbalized it. Gabriel dropped the plate in front of Luke, along with the last semi-clean fork and plopped back down next to Amy. "This is a good one! I used that left-over pepparoni from the other night. We're really going to have to hit the food pantry soon, or one of us is going to have to find a job." Sure.... A wing youth could just walk into Wal-Mart and ask for a position as a stocker.

LIlith shook her head, and looked at Micheal. "I don't know, but this has been home for so long, I can't think of any other place we could go." she sighed and stayed where she was, noticing how he moved closer.

"I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get there, and personaly I hope we never get there. The only people who know we exsist is...was the doctor and his team, and I made sure he was dead when I burned that place to the ground," she shivered, the thoughts trying to take over as she spoek about it. At that moment she wanted to throw her arms around Micheal and hug him, but she had to be strong, she was the strong one in the group, she reminded herself.

"A job huh.... well one of us work as a greeter at Walmart," taking huge bites of whater it was that Gabriel laid in front of me to be honest its always good but never worht asking what excately is in em. "... Could welcome them in and tell them that Walmart has heavenly deals,". Damn this stuff was good and its 4:30 in the morning what the fuck am I doing up now .. well no point in going back to bed.

"From a practical stand point the money is a problem I guess any actual ideas for ways we could earn some with out much exposure to the outside world? I know I learned to do some tatooing and am handy with a needle but we are hardly set up to do anything like that,". Laughing rue fully now.

"We could though use as a slogan come get peirced by a real freak,".

Gabriel laughed, almost shooting orange juice out of his nose. "How about a brothel? We could call it Touched By An Angel." He glanced over at Amy. Not suprisingly, she hadn't said a word. His question to her had been forgotten with Luke's entrance. "I hope you two realize that one of you two is cleaning up this mess. I going to make a bit more for the others and then go for a swim."

Gabriel got busy making another fry up. The pepparoni was gone. He searched around in the cabinets until he came up with a tin of mustard sardines and a bit of dried, salted sea weed. In minutes, another fry up was ready. This one had a much more distinct fishy smell to it. Gabriel pushed a small spoon of itone his dirty plate and started to inhale it.

"I don't know, but this has been home for so long, I can't think of any other place we could go." Lilith sighed as she spoke. "Home. Can be so many things." Michael continued to float near Lilith. "Lets head back to the house, the sun will be comming up soon. And the others should be waking."

He wished there was more time for them to spend together. He rarely stayed up past noon. Always the night owl he was. He preferred the night anyway. Less distractions, less chance of being seen. The others took their chances. Slowly he began to swim towards the shore. Walking out the rest of the way of the lake. The material of his soaked boxers clung to body revealing alot more then they should have.

Spreading his wings he flapped them twice, releasing the few beads of water which were caught between the feathers, before once again folding them behind him. Smiling he took Liliths hand and helped her manuver over a few of the rocks before releasing her. Her soft small hand fit almost perfectly within his own. It was nice to feel the touch of another. Especially hers. Smiling he shook the thought from his mind. She would never, would she? nah.

Unfortunately neither of them brought towels. Standing there, he wondered how long it would take to dry in the night air. Guess we'll find out.

Smiling wide as I keep shovling egg and meat mix "Not a terrible idea but I was on the streets long enough to know who I appeal to.... and its not pretty,". Getting a look on my face that appears to be somehting like contemplation "Well we could rent ourselves out to churches or night clubs and make the claim that its all complicated makeup,".

Thinking more about it all of these would get us exposed sooner or later and we were still gonna need the money. Damn I have no idea what to do really do this revelation slowly spreading across my face as much as I try and keep a happy look on my face.

LIlith followed him out, she could smell the scent of cooking food coming from the house, it pulled from what seemed to be the dream wolrd that only her and Micheal shared. As he took her hand, she felt a small jolt go through her, a few goosebumps rising on her arms. She didn't want to let his hand go but after she was out of the rocks , did so.

She smiled at him, seeing his boxers cling to his body. "Nice ass!" she smiled at him and whistled ludely, she knew he could see almost through her shirt and underware but thought nothing of it. The night air was cooler then the lake and made her shiver for a moment. "Maybe we should have brought towels out with us," she smiled and rubbed her arms, knowing full well how her almost transparent shirt clung to her ample breasts. "So, should we sit and dry off or head back to the house, I have a feeling Gabriel made something, I can smell it," She was so close to him now, she wanted him to hug her, keep her warm. She looked up at him, brushing a stray hair out of his eyes before feeling her cheeks blush lightly.

Laughing Michael took a hold of the bottom of his boxers and began to wring them out. He blushed slightly as she whistled ludely. He was bent over slightly while he wrung out his boxers. His attention moved from her barefeet up along her legs. Over her soft flesh. His deep brown eyes looking over her thighs higher still as he straightened over her wet shirt, which clung nicely against her curves. Standing straight up quickly caught in the realization of what he was doing.

"You like huh? I'm sure your ass looks ten times better then mine though." The smell of something being cooked lingered in the air as, most likely Gabriel, was cooking something up. A hint of fish filling his nostrils. Crinkling his nose. "Wow I can smell that from here, I wonder what it smells like over there." Both of them shivered in the cool night air.

"Well we didn't plan this one very well, did we?" Michael watched as she rubbed her hands over her arms trying to warm herself. He knew full well that it was her chest she should be rubbing. But that would be a bit ackward. It was always best to warm the heart, it distributed the blood to warm the rest of the body. "Why don't we sit and dry off for now, we still have about an hour till sunrise."

They both walked to a nearby log and sat. Lilith looked beautiful to his eyes in the fading moonlight. With her thin, soaked clothes clinging to her body. It left little to the imagination. But what a delicious image it was. Quietly he lifted his right arm and wrapped it around her shoulder, pulling her towards him. "Whatcha thinking Lilith?"

From the angel that his bedroom window sat by, he could easily get to the roof. As he climbed up, he sighed as he looked at the lake nearby then towards the sun. Why were they put here? Did god not like them for some reason? Had we been banished from the kingdom of heaven? after all, we are angels. As a child he had heard stories of god and it strangely mixed with his own life, that is why he started carrying a necklace with a cross on it in his pocket. He looked around as he sat on the roof. What was he meant to do here? Hopefully he'd find out.

Zachary could smell someone cooking and it caught his attention, it smelled real good but he ignored it, for now. He noticed two of his fellow angels coming up from the Lake, he smiled and sighed. Things were becoming better. Slowly.

Lilith smiled and moved with him to sit on the log. She couldn't help but stare out onto the lake, she had to try and calm all of the thoughts that were warring in her head. But he was so, so close, and she couldn't help it as her heart began to beat fast.

And it was at that moment that Micheal slid his arm around her, she couldn't help it, she scooted closer to him and curled up beside him. "Lots of stuff, most of which I'm sure you would be rather disturbed to hear." she joked, a hint of seriousness to her tone. It did disturb her, she had grown to see Micheal as a brother, and now these feelings for him were slowly starting to surface more and more. She sighed, her gaze still out on the lake as she rubbed her arms. The closeness of his body was helping her, but her clothes were still soaked to the bone.

Amy ate quietly then slipped into the kitchen to wash her plate when she finished. She heard their talk about needing stuff and knew that maybe now was the time to show what she was given when she was released.

She diappeared when Gabreil started to cook another masterpeice. She hated the smell of sardines which gave her reason to vacate the kitchen.

In less then ten minutes she came back with her little purse. It was a play purse with My Little Pony on it but she sat it on the table and waited for Gabreil to open it.

Amy never quite understood the function of money so to give away the green franklin faces never seemed to affect her as much as it did the one that received it. She looked at Luke and Gabreil and wondered why they stared at her, then she pouted.

Did it have to do with the six franklin pictures that were sticking out of her little purse?

Gabriel glanced over at Amy. She had run off somewhere and returned with a purse. A My Little Pony purse.... Gabriel shook his head. Sure, he loved Amy. They all did. Sometimes though it was hard to know what was going on in her head. For a moment, he wondered if she was a bit touched, but then he remembered he was wearing Sylvester the Cat pajama pants. Oh ya.

Suddenly Gabriel saw the money sticking out of the top of the purse. He almost choked on the last bite of his sardine and egg concoction. "Oh My God! We are so going to the movies."

Michael was actually amazed at himself. These weren't normal actions for him. Lilith and him had grown closer over the passing months since they've escaped the labs. She really was the one he felt the closest connection too. As he slid his arm over her shoulders she scooted closer to him. Her cold wet shirt touching his bare side. He sat there on the log in his boxers, while she sat in her shirt and panties. "Disturbed to hear? I doubt anything could be as disturbing as Dr. James. And if your thinking about him, your right, I'd rather not know. But tell me if it is something else."

Smiling as she rubbed her arms. His own hand around her shoulder slid up and down her shoulder to try and warm her up. Unfolding his left wing, it blocked the night breeze, hoping it would help. He couldn't help but allow his gaze to wander over her flesh. Over her thighs, her legs. She looked good in the moonlight. Her normally hard gothic features softened by the light.

Shivering slightly his boxers weren't drying, and they were keeping him cold. Lilith's clothes were probably doing the same, but on a much larger scale. She was wearing more clothes then he. They couldn't very well remove their clothes, could they? "I don't think these wet clothes are going to dry anytime soon."

Amy jumped back when Gabriel made his exclaimation, her eyes widened in fear as she back away even more. She glanced to the left then the right, then she jumoed over the chair Luke was in and bothed for the corner, shrinking down and making scared whimpers in the dimly lit area.

She was afriad of movies, they always brought her pain. Her mind went back to the labs.

"Set up the cameras so we can document the results of our tests. If not the movie alone will grant us more favorable positions." Dr James remarked as he took another vial of green liquid and shot it into the small arm. "There you go Amy, smile nicely for the camera, you are in the movies. No don't fight the medicine this time. That's a girl, just relax, this won't hurt too much"

Amy's struggling became weaker as the liquid forced her to become slower almost a deadly stop.

When she woke she was strapped to a table and wires going everywhere, two different ropes of plastic attached to her arm and pumping more strange liquid into her veins

Lilith shivered as his wing slid out the sheild her from the night wind. "No, it's not about him.." she bit her lip thoughtfully. She shook her head, "It's nothing," she sighed. ~Stupid Lilith, stupid!~ she thought to herself as she sat there with him. She could see it all playing out in her head, kissing him, feeling his fingertips on her flesh...

~No, no, stop!~ she thought to herself, she wanted to much to pull away, she knew if she did that, all of the thinking would stop. But she couldn't bring herself to do it. "Actually, Micheal...have you ever done something and known it was wrong, but it didn't stop you from doing it?" she asked staring out at the lake.

Michael felt her shiver beneath his touch. His outstretched wing shielding the cool night wind. Taking his gaze from her, he looked out at the lake. "No, it's not about him.." listening to her sigh. His mind wandered as it did whenever the doctor was brought up.

Michael sat huddled in his cage. His legs drawn to his chest, his arms wrapped around his shins. Dirt was smeared on his face. A bowl of uneaten broth lay in a corner. Michael held the bit of bread in his hand. Jumping at the sound of the shuffling of feet near his cage. 'Not today, please not today.' Cowering in the corner of his cage.

Doctor James unlocked the latch to his cage. "Good evening my archangel. Come with me, we need to see how your doing." Michael new better then to protest. He'd done it a few times before. There was pain, immense pain, but he couldn't remember what exactly happened. Michael crawled from the small cage. Standing next to the doctor he was suddenly bound from behind by the 'nurses'. His heart beat faster as he struggled. "Now now archangel. Don't struggle. You know what happens when you do that."

Dr. James tapped Michael on the cheek. Almost lovingly, but you knew there was something wrong with the way he did it. No sooner did he stop struggling was a hood placed over his head.

Shaking his head he returned to reality. The memory of that night, the night he recieved his wings. Michael never understood why the doctor called him his archangel until that night. "Actually, Micheal...have you ever done something and known it was wrong, but it didn't stop you from doing it?"

He loved each of his fellow angels. Loved each like a brother, a sister. And here he was, with his 'sister', wanting to see more of her. Wanting to touch more of her. Where had these thoughts and feelings come from? Oh he had thought plenty of things he shouldn't have. But had he ever done something?

"I don't know. I don't remember too much before the doctor. But that doesn't mean I haven't. Or I won't."

Lilith sat there weighing what she was about to do in her head as Micheal sat and got lost in memory. She could recognize that look, most of them had it when they relived one of their horrible memories. When he answered Lilith felt her heart jump, she had to do it, if she didn't she knew she would go insane.

"Micheal?" she said, making him look at her. Leaning up she gently pressed her lips to his, her hand caressing the side of his face. Her heart jumpped at that moment, everything felt so right. She had taken the jump, and as she pulled away immediately wondered if she had done the wrong thing. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that," she breathed getting up and approaching the lake shore, pulling on her pants she had shed before they had taken their swim, all the while she tried to calm her hammering heart.

"Micheal?"

As he turned his attention from the memory and the lake before him towards Lilith at his side. He smiled at her. He was about to say 'yes?' but was caught off guard as her soft lips were pressed to his own. His hand on her should stopped its movement momentarily. He was lost in the pleasure, in the implications of the kiss. Michael returned the soft kiss as her hand reached to carress the side of his face. No sooner did it start, was it over. The lingering feel of her moist lips against his own. Her soft touch against his face gone as she quickly stood up and spoke.

Michael had a crooked grin on his face as he scratched his head. A bit confused at the whole situation. It seemed they both wanted something from the other. She grabbed her pants and walked towards the lake. He watched her siloutte as she pulled her pants back on. Smiling he made up his mind and picked up his glasses.

Putting them on he gathered his pants and slipped them over his damp boxers. Leaving his shoes for the moment he quietly walked up behind Lilith. Wrapping his arms around her waist, he pressed his cheek to hers and looked out over the lake. This was definetly something new for him. "Do you regret what just happened?" whispering "Because I enjoyed it."

Turning her around slowly he looked into her eyes. His hands move to cup her face gently. Lowering his face to hers, he pressed his lips to hers this time. Kissing her gently. Longingly.

IT could have went one of two ways, Lilith thought to herself. He could get up and walk off to the house and never speak to her again, or he could.... she didn't have time to think of the second option as she felt him slid his arms around her waist and whisper to her. Him being so close, she closed her eyes relishing in the feeling of it.

As he turned her around, Lilith looked up at him, as he kissed her, she slid her arms around his neck, her body resting against his as she returned the kiss.As their lips parted, Lilith was almost breathless. She smiled up at him, hugging him close. "That was amazing Micheal," she breathed letting her head rest against his chest. She knew he could probably feel how her pulse had quickened when they kissed.

Smiling, he hugged her close to him. Her damp shirt clung to his chest. He could feel her body pressed against his. Resting his hand on her hair he enjoyed the feeling of her in his arms. "Yes it was, but what happens next? The sun will be up soon, and the others are awake. Should we head back to the house?"

He really wished there was more time to enjoy this new found emotional connection they shared. What would the others think? He leaned down once more and pressed his lips to her once more. The feel of her moist lips against his own, as they messhed together. His mouth opened slightly allowing his tongue to slip just past his lips to touch hers. They felt so wonderful beneath his touch.

She wanted to stay there forever, she wanted him to hold her and never let go. She knew though, she knew they had to head back. "Yeah, I guess we should go," she sighed and as he kissed her again, she felt his tongue, and mimiced his movements.

She didn't know what all of this meant. What would the others think. As they pulled away from each other she sighed. "I don't know if we should tell the others Micheal, I don't know how they'll all react..." she bit her lip and turned, slipping her hand into his as they began to walk along the shore back towards the house.

Michael felt her tongue mimic his. He felt her soft, moist tongue touch his own, before the kiss was broken slowly. The physical connection broke for the moment. "Yeah I think your right. We'll see how it goes." Smiling as she bit her lip and turned. Lilith slipped her hand into his. His fingers interlocking within her own as they began the stroll back to the house. His shoes left at the lake for now.

Michael was enjoying this. He was holding the hand of the object of his desires. He had just kissed the one person he'd wanted to. And she kissed him first. What would happen next? "Man that stinks. What did Gabriel make this morning?" chuckling as they walked, hand in hand towards the house.

Walking made them feel normal. Sure they could have flown. But why rush thru something when you can make it last as long as you want. And they both wanted this beginning to last as long as it could.

"I think it's some kind of fish, you know him, he likes to make those weird concotions." she joked as she held his hand, walking alongside him. This would take some getting used to, but she knew it would be in a good way. But not showing affection to him in front of the others was something entirely different.

She smiled to herself, it would be one big game between them. She could just see herself sneaking into his room and curling up with him as they slept. She shook her head as they approached the house. She pulled her hand from his almost regrettfully. She didn't say anything, only leaned up and quickly kissing his lips. Turning she opened the door and stepped in, "Wow, was there a party I wasn't invited to?" she asked in passing as she made her way upstairs to change out of her wet clothing.
