Will the Chinese get to the moon?

They'll probably stand on the shoulders of the comrade below and reach for the heavens. (or take the Long March 5)

The technology and successful methodologies for getting to the moon are pretty straightforward these days thanks largely to the United States.

Anyone can go to the moon if they are willing to spend the money. No big deal.

Sure if they want to.

And they probably will.

Besides the New technologies they will invent they will learn how to use the existing ones better and cheaper.

I want them to go and take the lunar buggy out for a spin.

Put spoilers on it.

Why would they wish to go to moon? It has conclusively been proven moon is not cheese so no reason to go.

Ancient Chinese rockets date back to at least the third century. In 228, the Wei State used torches attached to arrows to defend Chencang against the invading forces of the Shu State.

By the late 10th century, the Song Dynasty (960-1279) had mastered the art of using gunpowder in its rockets. Paper tubes filled with gunpowder and fitted with blasting fuses were attached to arrows. Later on, the gunpowder was carried directly inside the arrow. These high-speed weapons wreaked terror on the enemy.

For having such a huge head start it's about time.

We could all spread out a little bit. Maybe give the Palestinians a piece. Japan could relocate to a slightly less radioactive suburb.
