With Justice Roberts increasingly voting with the tyrant block on the court, and with the strong possibility of Obama being re-elected and potentially putting several new liberal ideologue judges on the court, will "hate" speech laws similar to those in Europe, Canada, Australia, and a number of other countries soon be upheld in the US?
Nearly all European countries, Canada, Australia, and many other pseudo-democratic countries, do not have freedom of speech. Views deemed politically "incorrect" or "too far" to the right, etc, are banned by law and people are fined and even imprisoned just for expressing their opinion. What many people don't know is that these same laws were proposed here as far back as the early 1980s, but the Supreme Court threw them out based on the 1st Amendment.
With the changing balance on the court, and the ideological extremism of this "liberal" wing, will Freedom of Speech soon be banned here as well? I predict it will, though I'm still praying for a miracle.
