There's no such thing as a failed impeachment; he was impeached. What he was accused of, he did.

The only thing that saved him was that the 'party of law and order' decided that their own future election prospects would be enhanced by ignoring his actions and voted to keep him in office.

And that is certainly nothing to brag about.
