Seems 2/3 (statistic pulled out of my rear end in a blatant attempt to sway opinions) of the answers are something akin to "people are rude".
Hmmm, maybe that's a bit harsh.
We could instead say "people are inconsiderate", yeah, let's say that so I don't seem so negative! =)
Money? (references above post about government, handicap stickers, etc)
Shame too, because I'm enjoying the music in the car and the mood is constantly broken up by commercials. Or I scan through the stations looking for a song I like and 90% (yikes, another completely fictional stat!) of the stations are talking at me instead of playing music.
Why oh why is it so difficult to be so honest and open with our lover about anything and everything, even when it means vulnerability (or forgiveness!)??
Because some are cheating, most don't admit to that.
Sometimes guys aren't honest with the women or themselves. When they want a woman and find out what kind of man she wants, they try to become that man and that is not who they are.
Pride
Scared to disappoint
They don't want to hear their partners complaints
Admitting your own flaws to yourself is difficult, let alone your partner
Fear of those vulnerabilities being used against them or thrown in their face
