This sounds familiar. This is the root of the insomnia I've suffered for years...I have a mental list going in my head all the time of what I need to do, what I didn't do, what someone said, what I read, heard, need to say, who just slapped who silly... ...it never ends.

To answer your question, I suppose because you need to be truly bored to do the boring things? Once you've satisfied your quest for whatever moves you, you are mentally free to move onto the more mundane.

Exactly. I have so much to do today. Laundry, dishes from last ngiht, Vacuuming and cleaning both bathrooms. Shopping and I need to clean my fridge before I buy groceries to now that you mentioned it!!!lol
