Why your name?

I am "the silver lining" because I wanted something a little different. I'm forever being told that I'm cynical and pessimistic....it was meant to be ironic.
Turns out there may be a little more of the optimist in me than i originally thought. :)

I am "alice" because of my location, simple as that.
Somebody called me it one day and it kinda stuck....I like it. :D

I have red hair and I am a friendly person. I honestly didn't think anything of it, and was ignorant about the "How friendly are you?" line I now get almost every day.

Ouch. Well I can say the same for my name a bit... Luckily I don't have a particular question. Name answers itself.

Because I was a preacher's wife, and that was the one way that I hated to be introduced.
The 69 because when I set up my email account it was not available so I added the number 69 and was able to get the screen name that I wanted for email and just carried the 69 over to my Lit name.

I would absolutely hate being called the preachers wife in real life.

However there is somehow a very sexy aspect to your name: The whole 'destruction of innocence' concept. Though, I think you are pretty dirty underneath already. ;)

aka as in other wise know as " Sol "

>Sol

"Sol" as in sun? What meaning do you have most emphasis on?

Madison is the last name of my favorite football player of all-time. CB stands for cornerback, which is the position he played. And 29 was his number.

I'm a sports guy...

Hahaha a lil

I used to get a kick out of messing with those damned Internet scammers from Nigeria. One of the characters I used to use to cause them grief had the last name Pollman and this is short for that.

Really mature, I know. But it was amazing the stuff they would do in hopes that you'd fall for their scam.

I have no qualms. I think that's fabulous. I am curious what some of the worst people were...

someone wrote a poem to me and I love the line. I honestly forgot about the movie until someone pm'd me about it.

What poem? Was it here from lit? Willing to share?

Cinnamon was already gone by the time I got here. Somehow though, Cinner and Cin seemed even more appropriate for my purpose here. ;)

Hehehe yes its a great name

Hmmmmmm and when did you decide you could be optimistic? In what aspect?

My name is my motto. I try to bring love n laughter wherever I go.

Two of the best things in the world. :)

I wasn't very creative the day I joined. This is my dogs name, chocalate lab and my ID number from work 294.

My sn is likely easy enough to guess.

I couldn't really come up with one at first.

Then I thought about it and it ended up being... I wanted to be the reason steer was in this site (my guy: stewepike69)... The reason he was aroused, then content and happy. Aka even if it's perverse sometimes, and on some levels, if you care about someone you want to be part of their happiness... And that's in a general sense.

And then also because I has been trying to figure some of my own things out. You are always looking for a good reason to get up in the morning. Or things to forward to the next day. You know... All that deep crap.

But overall. Figured saying I wanted to give him good reasons to come home suites for a site like this. Bound to be a few jokes. The name suited me.
ahh the answer :)

I was listening to a Jet album at the time (Get Born), added an extra 't' to be cool ( ) and my birth year.

And so my Lit ID 'got born'. ;)

i surpose in this life more is always better and you never seem to have enough of anything so i thought-she wantsmore

I Love Football and my screen name reflects my favorite team. I really didn't want a user name that had sexual overtones so that was all I could come up with at the time.

lol i forgot to answer...

i was originally JackkMac- but i took a break from lit aggggges ago and changed my password in such a way that i couldn't hack back in to it - Jack just cause i am and mackk because it rhymes
then i wanted back and so i reversed it ::)

Easy enough

Hehe sounds like a similar reason I picked mine.

No sexual overtone for me

Heheh smooth

I have a friend that keeps telling me there are "plenty of fish in the sea." I eventually started replying, "Well it seems like I'm the only one that casts a hook, but never gets a bite." And that's where the name comes from.

Cuz I am just a simple dude with simple thoughts and I miss the simple times of youth.

Huh... That's something to easy to relate to.

Actually none of those lol.
Tess of the D'Urbervilles Thomas Hardy novel

I tried. That's why I ask!

Cuz I am just a simple dude with simple thoughts and I miss the simple times of youth.

Fair enough

Fair enough

When I joined this site, after a few months of reading, I was of the mind that I could try my hand at writing a bit.
The stories I first thought of were of the simple joys of youth.
I have since diverted a bit, and still have a few started but not yet happy with.

Well I am sure you will get them sorted out and share them soon!

My current name is self-explanatory.

I was once here under another name, but then I discovered that I was about to be "outed" to my friends, family, boss -- everyone. So I tried to cover it up by deleting all my old posts. The person who is outing me saved it all, however.

My former name had to do with "intrigue." I guess that intrigue is no longer.

There's always some fear about being 'outed' to say the least. That's why I have tried to limit certain types of pictures.

I'm sorry that happened to you.

My name is unique, and I thought, rather apt.
Besides, I've been called one sick bastard on a fairly regular basis for most of my adult life.

Was a fan of the Spenser for Hire show, had it for a very long time and many times have thought about changing it.

When I first started coming around Lit, I was the Safety Coordinator for my employer. Though I've changed careers since, I've maintained my Lit persona throughout.

When I first started at litchat I wanted something that was an easy reflection of the person I try to be around here, and 'playful' seemed the most truthful and appealing. The 'little one' part of it in retrospect was ill-chosen, but it works. Initially I picked it to go with Playful just because it sounded good. But it also attracted a lot of doms and daddies in the beginning which was unforseen actually and a little startling. I've since gotten used to that aspect of it.:D

I had been reading stories here on Lit for a good couple of years before I jumped into the forum. I had recently moved to Georgia and lived nearby a highway with the number in my handle. The last part, if I recall correctly, was because I needed a longer name, so I added my country. In hindsight, not a very good reason, but there you have it.
