Why you can't have nice things.

The guard is a MILITARY force.

It seems like some people think that they're just cops with pepper spray, rubber bullets/bean bags and tricked out uniforms.

When a military force shows up in your neighborhood and tells you to "go inside your homes" you either do it, or face the consequences. Most of the time, you're lucky you even have a choice between those 2 things. In any event, there is no 3rd option.

I know you didn't attend an accredited law school, but there is a difference between a "curfew" and "martial law".

The curfew order, signed by the governor, restricted access to public places after sundown. It did not say you had to stay indoors on your own property. In fact, you could even have a firepit going in your back yard if you so desired.

The National Guard exceeded their mandate, and took issue with people sitting on their front porch. The National Guard fucked up.

Naturally, of course, you side with the National Guard because you're a good "authoritarian follower".''

There is no 3rd option no matter how much you bluster.

I didn't say that there was, Timmeh.

We're not living under martial law, and a curfew is not martial law. Period. End of discussion. Rationalize it as you will, I'm sure your krew will back you up, they're not especially grounded in reality either.

A curfew is an order. Orders are supported by force. Force is intemperate and nondiscriminatory.

Bloviating on with your crapfest, changes nothing.

So can a lockdown order be supported by force too, timmy?

Of course, unless you tell him to wear a mask.

Then the militia cosplay comes out, he clutches his pew-pew penis substitute, and shouts about his “Freeeeeeedumb and Libeeeeerrrrtyyyyyyyy.” :D

In these Democrat jurisdictions where the leadership refuses to take necessary action to maintain law and order and protect the citizenry the President should cite the Insurrection Act and send in an airborne division to declare martial law and restore order.

Like they did in Tulsa 99 years ago?

The more things change...

Or, tell them the cattle can’t illegally graze on public lands.

Always digging decades in the past for some whataboutism too justify today.

Anything to keep from acknowledging that maybe some of their politics have negative consequences.

Like unions protecting bad cops until they do something REALLY fucked up, and sometimes not even then.

Blame Trump and white people instead!

Little does she know, the klan was started by democrats. ;)

Then why do you keep posting it?

More lies.

Lying has become a daily thing for you now, it seems.
Something to go hand in hand with your daily delivery of derpitude. :D

Sad, plague-rat jack-leg lawyer.

I see that Trump's 'The beatings will continue until morale improves' approach to civil unrest will continue for another day as he cheers on Tom Cotton for threatening citizens with the "101st Airborne Division"

100% Correct. Thank you Tom!

Anarchy, rioting, and looting needs to end tonight.

If local law enforcement is overwhelmed and needs backup, let's see how tough these Antifa terrorists are when they're facing off with the 101st Airborne Division.

We need to have zero tolerance for this destruction.

Last I checked, the KKK is pro-fascism.

Ask Hillary Clinton. She knows the KKK. Her long time mentor and friend was a KKK leader.

And yet no one considers Hillary a racist...

How does that happen? Hmmmmmm...
