I don't understand how you could do this job every single day. The lady comes in and puts me through hell for 30 or 40 minutes.

You can tell I am in pain, I am turning red, sweating, and cursing.

She ignores me and keeps counting.

I am being a little tongue in cheek here. Still she hurts me every time she comes to see me. Three times this week. Damn.

I guess you have to be a very special person to know that your job is to hurt people, to make them feel better in the long run. I sure couldn't do it.

I've got to agree. I couldn't do it. Takes a lot of strength. (of course, I'm not talking muscles:))

Bill the Cat. Damn I loved Bloom County.
Now I've got the urge to go back and read all of the BC books that are collecting dust on my shelves.

Ack! Thpppt!
Hehehe...
Sorry, just amusing myself. :)

I know what you mean sch00lteacher
5 times a week for me for 8.5 months them attacking my leg, then useing elecric shock therapy on it.. that bugs the hell out of you (don't hurt thought)

the one trainer we called the Dominatrix of pain :) she was a very nice person though, and I just have to say though it hurt like hell it was fun haveing a pretty little blond holding my leg in the air laing on me yelling as i sweat, HARDER HARDER HARDER YOU CAN DO IT COMEON
:D

I think they enjoy giveing others pain lol that's the kind of person that wants to be a physio therapist.

sch00lteacher,

There is a method to her madness. She knows exactly what shade of red you should be in order to reap the benefits of her pain giving sessions. LOL

My sister is a physical therapist with senior citizens. Yes, you do have to be a very special person to be able to perform that type of job. You need just the right mixture of sympathy and toughness. But, it is a rewarding field to be in.

By the way, how are you feeling now? Can you see any difference with your progress now that you are receiving your therapy on a regular basis?

Enjoy your pain.....I mean day! lol It's also nice to see you again.

I can see and feel the difference she makes. That doesn't help much while she is pushing me to go that extra step. I had the same lady last time and I do like her as a person. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Until she starts with the exercises. Then she becomes an evil woman.

I am glad I don't have to live with her.

:p
