We've been hearing a lot since 2016 about the white working class as Trump's base -- but why? Americans of all colors live by manual labor -- why single out the white ones?

Because a purely Marxist analysis of the class system oversimplifies the picture. A social class is not defined solely by its economic function. A social class is a social entity, a circle within which people freely socialize -- and freely marry,

The white and black working classes are different slices of the same layer of the cake. They do the same work but they live in different neighborhoods, attend different churches, drink in different bars, join different clubs -- and while not the taboo it once was, interracial marriage remains rare.

Communists and socialists take note: Any plans you may have for a "class war" must take account of cultural obstacles that impede a sense of class solidarity as you define it.

Probably because that demographic represents the majority of the working class.

But singling them out implies an expectation that their voting behavior will be different from the others.

Why would it be? That's a very important question to answer. Why do the WWC view political matters differently from other workers?

there are i guess 3 and a half kinds of working class

1 the lower working class 2 the middle working class 3 the upper working class and the half is the unemployment working class
