There are very few people on here wanting to actually try and connect? I've been here awhile and met like three real woman that didn't ask for money, a cell phone and so forth. However 2 of them were married and not serious about chatting. All that did was mess with my head. Am I the only one experiencing this? Maybe it's just a continuation of my rotten luck in this department . I don't know. It's just extremely frustrating. I wish those people could be reported and bounced from this page

That my friend is part of today's life, there will always be persons out there looking for someone to use, why do you there are so many scammers in the world today and the internet is an easy way for them to troll and some of the ones you think are in fact a woman are probably just guys looking to find someone dumb enough to send them money!

Most of the men here treat women and speak to women as though instead of people, we are sex vending machines.

I put in two whole nices and no sex came out!?!?

It gets old, quickly.

So most of the women leave, or lockdown their privacy settings so they can just read and not participate.

Some stay and talk to each other. Some stay and participate in the boards for fun. Some might be looking for a private connection, but that is more and more rare.

If you would like to connect with one of the women here, you will need to display a personality that appeals to them. Just posting that you want to chat with a woman won’t do anything.

Some yes and some no. It certainly goes both ways. Anyone that says "I'll talk to you for such and such money or i need such and such item" should be bounced no matter who they are. You don't get someone's hopes up that they are gonna have a chatting partner just to basically try and steal money from them

I’ve been on/off here about 10 years. I’ve met many genuine people who were looking for a connection. In all that time I’ve never been asked for money or a cell phone. I suggest being more selective about who you message or reviewing peoples profiles more carefully before responding to a message from them.

Also, if a post seems desperate for someone it’s probably fake.

I've been here 20 years.

Everyone comes here for different things.

Some people come here for a thrill, to just quickly get off. Some people come here to cheat on their spouse. Some people come here to try to do SW stuff (which is against the TOU, by the way). If someone is asking you for money, you should report them. Some people come here to connect. Very few, I've found, want to do that IRL. I think a lot of people are skittish because they have had a very bad experience or could see having one (doxing, for instance). It may take time to find someone who aligns with you. We are all individuals.
