Ok...why is it that some of Lit`s more "vocal experienced" members need to flatten newbies when they post?

I am not only referring to this board but to others like the Feedback Board too.

All too often Newbies get shot down out of hand for trying to express an opinion, (by the same glorious band of flamers it has to be said), and then you see not a lot posted by them for some time afterwards if at all. If everyone who came here had a marvellous command of grammer, could write like Tolkien or Sallinger what would people hope to teach or learn from them.

I say only this: Flamers, dear hearts, try to put your need for longwinded excess verbosity, used to reaffirm your own lack of self esteem, under the pillow. Maybe the tooth fairy will leave you a dollar and then you can call the Samaritans instead. If Newbies stop arriving here then it will be a sad day!

If you need to kiss/kick ass then here you go!

Just a little something I stumbled upon during my travels... and I've always loved that movie!

Travels?

Were you on a little tricycle that went...tickety-tick around the lobby carpets??

Yeah... and there were these two really freaky little girls! They wanted to play...

But my mom told me not to play with strange girls. Dammit! I might have scored!

Awwwww....

wait till daddy gets home, He looks like a guy who brings the door down on the occasion! or at least knocks a hole or two in it!

Yeah, he's always good for a few laughs! Funny how mom always gets this really scared expression on her face!

Geez... it's not like he's an axe murderer or anything!

That av puzzled me

REDRUM
Red Rum, England's Hero Red Rum Red Rum is the only horse in the history of the Grand National Steeplechase to win the race three times, and to make that feat further astonishing, he ran in it two other times and was second.
