Why is everyone so fucking stupid?

Is it? Interesting. Why do you think that is?

My personal theory is that in class-based or narcissistic environments, some people do harm to others cause arrogance or narcissism.
In more collectivistic ones, it's because of envy and crab mentality.

I don't know which is worse, but it's often a combination.

Go fuck a samosa, paki boi.

There's all kinds of stupid that comes to mind. I have a very long list.

Common sense is not common at all. But children have to be taught how to think critically. First you teach the word car, then you teach truck. then you teach the color of the car to help the child distinguish between colors,, etc. "Look at the car. Car" "Look at the blue car. Blue car." When a toddler asks, "Why?" Then someone has to give the child an answer. According to the commercials I have been seeing, it is no longer the parents' job to teach the child anything. Now it is Siri's job. I am not saying the parent has to know everything, but even saying, "I don't know, we will have to findout," is a teaching opportunity for your child to learn how to make choices which lead to critical thinking.

Adults today have their children in strollers or the shopping cart but you don't hear them say, "Look at the tree or the cloud or the orange." They are too busy paying attention to their phones or listening to their headsets. I have seen two parents each focused on their own screens while their toddler had a handheld game. No one talked to anyone, no one pointed anything out, no one took the opportunity to teach language or thinking or questioning." It is one of the saddest things I have seen.
Yeah, I'm so glad mine grew up mostly before the ubiquitous presence of cell phones and hand held games.

I still remember with humor the laughter I had when my youngest was around 3 or 4 I guess and we were out off-roading with his older brother in the early spring and we'd stopped to walk around some. As we walked past a number of water puddles he stopped suddenly squatted down by one and said with glee, "Look!. Sperms!"
He also knew what tadpoles were, but I took great joy in his budding sense of humor at relating the two.

Old people love to complain about how stupid the younger generation is these days. Then they call their grandchildren and ask them to come over and show them how their phone works.

Speaking of...

Beaumont, Texas | An employee of the Jefferson County morgue died this morning, after being accidentally cremated by one of his coworkers.

According to the Beaumont Police Department, 48-year old Henri Paul Johnson decided to take a nap on a stretcher after working for sixteen hours straight.

While he was sleeping, another employee mistook him for the corpse of a 52-year old car accident victim and carried him to the crematory.
Before anyone could notice the mistake, he had already been exposed to temperatures ranging between 1400 to 1800 degrees Fahrenheit and reduced to ashes.

I don't think I'd go to sleep anywhere near something that might burn me alive.
On the other hand, how can you not tell the difference between a corpse and a living person?
