Why I love The GB

As some of you may know, I started over in "personals".

After a couple of people kicked up a stink, and the board was split (not going to comment about that but still don;t think it was the right choice ), and I followed to The Playground.

From then on, it never really felt like home.

Sure i tried to talk to people and to fit in, but never really did.

One day i took a look over here at the GB... the "big bad scarey GB" (actually i still have a few friends from the playground who are scared to come here).

What i found was a forum with beautiful, sexy, witty, charming and (generally) intelligent people.

This is what keeps me comming back here.

If i want, I can have a firey debate about politics, world events or hell just talk crap in god knows how many different threads each day.

You people are just amazing.

We have (and these are all generalisations and i am not naming anyone in these categories) intelligent people, stupid people (in my oppinion), comedians, radicals, moderates, complete and total loonies, some people who downright scare me, sexy people and just about every other category you can think of.

This is just a thankyou to everyone on the GB.

Thankyou for day after day, not being afraid to post your feelings, truths, rants and beliefs.

I call the General Board my home and I am glad of it.

It is you people who make me feel welcome.

Thankyou EVERYONE.

You are so in my head.

I came here from the Pics Forum, and it took me a very long time before anyone would say a word to me, but I kept at it because of the very reasons you stated above. This board is the very best of any board anywhere. I've been to many a board, and this one is amazing. I am hooked on all of you people, you have wowed my to my knees.

I used to play on the Personals Forum, too, even had 2 personal ads, what a joke, all anyone wants there is sex...can you imagine???

Duck, I'm glad you found us. We're a loopy bunch but we have fun. Most of the time.

I liken it to where you like to live. Is it white bread or diverse? Are all the houses lined up pretty with perfect picket fenses and beautiful rose gardens? Or, do the houses all look different? Some grand, some run down, some funky, some artsy, big and small. Do the people all look different? Young, old, in between, different skin colors, different political views. That is the neighborhood I want to live in, because I can't think of anything more boring than being around people exactly like me all day long.

Not only are thier interesting things to read, but take a look at some of the av's and pictures. Thier is always something interesting to SEE as well. ( What?? Don't tell me that I'm the only one that looks at the pictures?? . As a matter of fact, I'm looking at a few of them now. )
