It's pretty obvious the Federal Election Commission has a tangible interest. As do the American people. Release it to Obama and let him show it to us. It should take you five minutes to get it done. That's longer than Obama's spent on the economy.

"Maybe I'm the only one in the country that could look you right in the eye and tell you, 'I was there when the baby was born,'" Abercrombie told the Chicago Tribune in an attempt to provide personal testimony to buttress the argument Obama was born in Hawaii as he has long claimed.
Abercrombie was a graduate teaching assistant in sociology at the University of Hawaii when Barack Obama Sr. arrived in 1959 from Kenya to enroll as the first African-born student in the university's history.
The problem with Abercrombie’s testimony is that Barack Obama Sr. and his wife, Ann Dunham, did not live together as man and wife with their baby son as Abercrombie claims to have witnessed.
There have been published transcripts from the University of Washington in Seattle that prove Ann Dunham was enrolled in extension classes there, across the Pacific, within three weeks of the baby's birth.
Also documented, Ann Dunham's Seattle address in authoritative Seattle street directories from the period and interviewed Barack Obama Jr.'s babysitter in Seattle to further document the presence of Ann Dunham and her baby in Seattle, not Hawaii as Abercrombie has claimed.

When pressed on the matter, Kapi'olani officials eventually sent a photograph of a paper letter purportedly written by Obama, though the White House has still not confirmed its authenticity or content. Hospital officials said they "know" the letter must be from Obama because it was brought to them by then-Congressman Abercrombie.
Obama first claimed he was born at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu, before the story changed to Kapi'olani and Internet articles claiming Queens as Obama's birth hospital were cleansed to substitute Kapi'olani instead of Queens as the birth hospital reference.
Abercrombie was listed as a member of the U.S. based, Marxist-oriented, The Democratic Socialists of America's official magazine, "The Democratic Left". We’re not birthers. Sure, we joke around about it, but we think Barack Obama was probably born in Hawaii. Far as we’re concerned, it makes no sense that some grand conspiracy to put him in the White House was put in motion on the day he was born in Kenya.
So if he was born in Hawaii, why doesn’t he release his original birth certificate? Even liberal lunatic Chris Matthews recently said, “Just release the damn thing, Mr. President, and shut up these birthers.”
A caller on Tim Conway, Jr’s radio show on KFI/Los Angeles Tuesday night suggested a simple, but brilliant theory that if true would be far more damaging to Barack Obama than the theory that he was born in Kenya. It goes like this:
Interracial marriage was still frowned upon even in racially-mixed Hawaii back in 1961 when Barack Obama was born.
So the reason – the simple, logical reason – that Obama won’t reveal his original birth certificate is because he is listed as white on that document. Perhaps it was his mother who checked the “White” box on the form. Or maybe the attending physician looked at the new baby, looked at his mother and said, “Baby mama white. Baby must be white” and entered that information.
This is a good one, isn’t it? It’s simple, logical and it explains Obama’s reticence to release the original birth certificate. After all, being officially designated as white would be the most devastating thing that could possibly happen to his political career. The only reason he got elected President is because, as Joe Biden said, “He’s a clean, good-looking, articulate black man.” (Don’t blame us, blame Joe.) The moment he’s seen as white, BAM!, he loses his cachet, his point of difference, his raison d’être in the sun, so to speak.

Totally nailed it. Being black is a tremendous advantage in this country, especially for presidents. If we were to find out that that form said that the man is just 'passing,' that he looks just black enough to reap the benefits of blackness, but is really, secretly, a poor white schnook like 99.99998% of Congress, CEOs, media operators and television stars, how would Obama keep reaping the inherent benefits of American blackness?
