Why does Lit use cookies? Why sextracker?

How many people just scrolled down Lance's post and didn't read it because it was too long and the subject has been explained already.

*raising hand* :D

I did the same thing with the cookie thread he started though, since I already know cookies are used and I don't care.

That's an outright lie.

PM Ishmael; he's already researching the "proofs" for a new thread. Ha!

I look forward to your retraction in due course.

Since I'm on a hot streak anyhow, let me point out the thread you started on the "PM Network", the several threads on Laurel and her alleged lying, and, of course, the threads on this subject.

I don't need anyone to do my research for me when everything's right out in the open.

You lied. Again.

You lose Lanns down.

Well, of COURSE it is! What else did you expect from Lance other than lies?

I think Lance must have been the younger brother in his family. You know how the younger kids always yelled to mom to complain about how their older brother/sister just did something? Only thing is, it was almost always the YOUNGER BROTHER who was guilty of the exact thing he just accused his older brother/sister of doing! My younger sister finally confessed to my mom years later that she used that tactic to get me in trouble all the time when we were kids. Mom thought my sis was a good kid and she couldn't believe how many times she had fallen for this trick!

Most people here at Lit don't fall for that trick of yours anymore, Lance.

Sorry to hear about your childhood, Chey.

I'm not your kid sister, no matter how much you wish it when you type your drool at me....I'm not your sister.

The little demonstration at the end where your IP is traced looks ominous but it is just a standard feature of the web. Anyone can run "traceroute". You can download the software and do it from your own computer. If you're running UNIX, there is nothing to download, you already have it.
If you're running Windows, you already have it, too. It's called "tracert.exe"

Not everyone has cookie control/eradication devices installed...I would guess that most don't.
Actually, most do. It's called a web browser. In Internet Exploder, for example, go to Tools -> Internet Options. Select the Privacy tab. Press the Advanced button. Check the "override automatic cookie handling" box, for First Party Cookies, select Block, for Third Party Cookies, select Block. Press OK. Then select the General tab. Press the button labeled "Delete Cookies." At this point, you will be free from cookies. And you won't be tempted to create a security problem for yourself like this.

There is no "Privacy tab" in IE5. You must be running IE6.
