Because of this, the overall figure for being fearful of walking alone at night is actually 21% higher in the UK than in the US. The ability to defend yourself still exists in the US, while it's been largely removed in the UK, making victimization much easier.

Here's the original chart - as this clearly illustrates again, people feel SAFER walking alone at night in the UK.

As Coach quite possibly actually does have me on ignore, can someone repost this so as to hopefully demonstrate to him what the stats actually say?
