Why Do You Post?

90-95% of the time, I'm posting in threads that suit my personal tastes. And, in those, I'm passing time and satiating habit the way most do, I think. But when I post in those other threads, it's because I'm trying to find the attention of someone someone specific. It rarely works.

I think people really do it to see if people post below them... they're not a would you kiss the person above you, they're a would anyone kiss me...lol

personally, it was to say hello to my friends, piss on playmates in a territorial fashion and see if people posted below me...loved killing those threads...

except when ravi was posting in them, then it was just to bait him...

I post because it makes me smile ,laugh, share news, make new friends...
I post because it is a great way for me to express my thoughts....sometimes thoughts that I normally would never share in a public arena outside of Lit...
I choose to not post negative thoughts about others, because I want to view Lit as a place that I can enjoy and want to come back to , time and time again...and vice versa, I want others to appreciate what I post.

I post ( when I have time) because it allows me to take a break from the stressors of my profession...

I think...partly it's habit. I've been here off and on for so long that it feels familiar and if not safe, then...familiar.

I try to leave a lot. But just when I convince myself, someone says something amazingly nice and I decide to stay.

Usually it is to just amuse myself....I make fun of myself frequently...knowing few actually see any of my posts....I have some 37000 posts and probably 20000 are for that reason...

Sometimes I post in word threads and games just for the mental enjoyment of it...mindless thoughts.....mentally relaxing....probably 10000 are for that reason...maybe more...

I enjoy flirting....I enjoy being complimentary to women...I "default" to the notion that some women do not get many compliments about their looks or intelligence, or how desirable they are...so I try to make it a point every day in lit to do that to someone...they might not need it, and they might not understand why I do it...but that is the reason.

Occasionally, some women catch my eye...and I try to woo them....I am batting about 0.100 in that department. But the search and inter-play is rewarding to me.

Some women are simply too stunning and sexy for words...I flirt with them...occasionally chase after them...but know there is no shot with them.....

When I say I am stalking women....it is one of my ways of complimenting a women...that she is so fine and yummy that she is worth being stalked....

All the above makes for (usually) an enjoyable time in lit....

I post when the notion strikes. Sometimes its because my one-liner bone has been molested beyond filter, sometimes it's because I feel I can contibute, sometimes because I've just got to poke the bear... Whatever I post, it's always intended to put a smile on someone's face.
