Why do women feel uncomfortable with their weight no matter how pretty they are?

This is something that has puzzled me for years. I happen to like ladies who are on the larger size because I think they are very sexy. But I also like the way different women look as well I just seem to like a woman whose bigger more. What is strange/funny to me is that even petite women seem to think they need to lose weight. I think that if you look good and you feel good about yourself who cares what anyone else thinks. Being sexy has alot more to do with your sex appeal than your body size anyway.

I like my food too even though I'm well proportioned at 6ft3 and 230 pounds. I never could understand what the big deal was about a woman being big. They use to say voluptuous curves which is a very sexy way of saying big. I love the way a womans ass looks when its bigger. It seems to have just the right amount of shake to it. A woman who is 5'6 or 5'7 should be between 150-200 pounds to look good. At least thats the way I see it. Some ladies are just to skinny because of this perception that society wants them to be that way.

I hope to let more people know that a bigger woman is a beautiful woman too.

You gotta remember that its not just women anymore! loadsa weight obssessed guys are poppin up here and there.

I rekon now adays more and more men are saying that they like a full figured woman and, thank god, its not oncommon to see a larger lady around on the other hand it doesnt seem to work the other way. Women (of cors I could be wrong) tend to prefer thinner/fitter men so give it a few years and I bet the tables will turn.

They usually have 18 inch waists and hips that a 13 year old would have. I am actually very petite, but I started seeing size 0's where I shop. Give me a break... At 102 lbs (reminded that I am small, with curves), there is no way that I would even think that I would want to say that I wore a size 0. Sexuality comes from within your soul. To give addage (sp) to an old saying, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. It is a nice change for a gentleman to still enjoy the curves of a lady and not a stick figure. Women of all sizes are beautiful, if their thoughts and actions are. Ok. Enough of my ranting...

Your right 'FlaminLeviathan' . Men should also understand that if they are large its no reason to hide from the world. We can be just as sexy at 275 as a guy is at 150. All that matters is that you get your self confidence back and sexy usually follows self confidence. I had a friend who was big all his life and he still did better than most the guys I hung out with. He was just very confident as well as a major flirt and a big kidder too.

I am a BBW and i've always been "on the plump side" but at a UK size 22/24 this is the biggest i have been to date and you know, it's the happiest i have been too.


I did get a little bigger,from having a badly broken wrist that meant i was unable to do much for 4 months and once i got back to full health the extra bit of weight dropped off and although i am still "fat" in most people's books i am happy.

My husband loves me so much,he's been a big factor in my happiness with my size,when i was younger i was always unhappy with how big i was,basically because everyone told m i needed to loose weight, my family,people at school etc etc.


I don't need to loose weight. I am healthy and happy and thati s what matters,not body shape.


I have my own website,which has lots of members (you have to register because of the whole over 18 thing but it is free) and i have pictures of me there and I am always boosted by comments left by people telling me how beautiful i am

I have women friends of all sizes and shapes and I think they are all beautiful. Besides it is not what you look like but who you are that really counts. Some of the sexiest women I know are by no means skinny. That doesn't mean a petite women can't be sexy, but if I had a choice between a voluptuous woman and a skinny woman I would take the voluptuous one any day. There is nothing in the world more beautiful than a woman with curves. Never be ashamed of how you look ladies, it is what you do with that gorgeous body that counts. I was eating in a restaurant last evening and there were two waitresses, one considered "skinny" and the other often called "heavy set" and I am here to tell you it was the larger of the two that had all of my attention. She was so sexy. I couldn't get up for the longest time because I was so hard thinking of her in my bed. I smiled at her every chance I got and never gave a second look to the "skinny" one. I like a woman with some meat on her bones. All you big beautiful women call me I am yours.

I like this thread...I have found other the years and all my travels there are some women who are a size 4 and they are just not sexy to me..at all...
I like women in the Marilyn Monroe category...like the movie title.."Real Women Have Curves" and dammed if I dont' love them..
I would also like to echo the sentiments that were posted regarding the women who are now obsessed with men with a perfect 'six pack'..a full head of hair and perfect ass....
That is getting a little old for me too...Yes I have lost some of my hair and have a six pack...its just in a cooler right now...LOL
So I think that both men and women have been beaten over the head with the 'perfect images' on tv and in magazines and we as a society are becoming obsessed....
