Very much this.No, I'm not. I'm talking about stories with intimacy, human connection, emotion. Sure, my stories present mood over plot, but this notion that a story is only valid if it has "plot, conflict, and resolution" is bullshit. It's erotica, for goodness sake, not Nietzsche.
Your idea of the human condition is clearly different to mine, but that doesn't make yours right, mine wrong.
Yes, the title of the thread is Why Do We Seek The Darkness - but are you saying that those who see light are lesser beings? Because that's how you come across.
Angels exist, as well as daemons.
The first story I wrote was a five parter, four of which took place in an orgy, three of which was different rooms and moments at the orgy itself.
65,000 words, most of them would probably be considered stroke material but within that there was divorce, sexual violence, deceit, jealousy, infidelity, drug use, incest, crime, drug dealing and murder…but I consider this to be a nice story.
Go figure.
