Why do some people on lit have threads for themselves?

the nature of the forum is that you are free to make whatever threads you choose, ignore whichever threads you choose, and post in any you want to.

who really cares if it's narcissistic? perhaps the person just wants to interact with other posters in the one place without having to trawl through a mass of other threads and posts. the fact is, i don't know their motives and don't care about their motives. you, of course, are free to.
