Because if they ate it at asleep places, they might disturb said places and wake them up which would be rude.
work place means office/company/place where people work, right? if you were not kidding me.
You seem to be cool with the office/company/place as your personal pick up joint.
What's wrong with eating there?
Firstly, it's not eco-friendly: normally the food has to be packed with disposable boxes and bags if you eat take-aways at office;
Secondly, it's not good for your health: you should eat your breakfast early, if you take it to office, normally it's too late for breakfast;
Finally, you will disturb your coworkers: the smelling of your breakfast is not so nice in a disclosed area.
1: I'd give you that if you assumed I ate fast food and not food from home in my very eco-friendly, hand made lunchbox.
2: Time that food is consumed has been shown to actually be better if you eat after your body has fully woken up. It helps the blood sugar regulate better and it means that you will be less irritable during the day.
3: Fuck them. I mean, I understand that you're from China, but here in the states, we have a pretty clear 'fuck you, this is my food, we live in an individualistic culture' policy. Plus, most of the time I'm running late and eating like that my food's gonna be a granola bar or a banna or something and a cup of coffee. If you don't like the smell of coffee, that's just plain unAmerican and I'll kick your ass over it.
Sorry, you have a similar icon to China Bandit. I have no idea where you're from, comrade. Also I misspelled 'banana' because it's more of a pattern then a word.

thirty, you live in mainland China. Breathing anywhere is unhealthy.
Take some time and read the phone jokes about the Chinese people who go to America and have to put their noses behind the airplane's asshole to feel normal.
What kind of weird crap are you eating?thirty said:Finally, you will disturb your coworkers: the smelling of your breakfast is not so nice in a disclosed area.
One of colleagues just had a business trip to the States and he told me that the air there was much much fresher than that in China.
I can't eat right after waking up. Need an hour or so to get up to speed first. So I usually have breakfast at a coffee shop on the way to work. Otoh, I can come and go at the workplace as I please, so if I take time in the morning for a breakfast break, it's not a problem. I realize

Here we eat and drink stuff at the office all the time. Most of us always have a fresh cup of coffee at hand, there's fruit, sandwiches, granola bars and stuff everywhere you look, not to mention salads and subs come lunchtime. Nobody cares. The damn Xerox machine stinks more than all the food combinesd anyway.
I was in Guangzhou last year. Never seen such smog. Felt slightly sick the whole time.

We normally have steamed buns, dumplings, dim sum, noodles, porridge, soy bean juice for breakfast, those foods are hot and with smelling. some pople have bread and milk but that's normally because they have no better options.
After you get up, you may take at least half hour for cleaning and shower etc, that's good enough for you to 'wake up' your body, then you may have breakfast.
I understand that different people have different habbits.
Besides, if you have breakfast after you arrive your work places, how many hours is it between your breakfast and lunch?
Enough for your blood sugar not to bottom out. That's what I was saying before. You really shouldn't go more then 4-5 hours without eating. 6 small meals throughout the day is best, but no work place is going to let you do that, so most folk on 9-5s will eat around 9, go to lunch around noon, and then eat again when they get home. That three-meal-a-day plan is one of the many reasons Americans are overweight. You go so long without eating that your blood sugar lowers, you become a whiney bitch, and your body tells you that you're obviously going through a famine because you haven't eaten for like 6 hours, and there's no way it takes that long to gather food in the wild, you ought to at least have some berries or a cabbage or someshit, so then when you do finally go to lunch it's like, "You eat everything you can get your hands on and spike that blood sugar. We gotta conserve the shit out of these calories because you might never get to eat again." Of course, you're going to be able to eat when you get off work, but your body doesn't know that. So it flies through all the refined sugar making ATP and fat, and then it's like, "How the fuck have you seriously not found any complex carbs yet? No sunflowers or grain or nothing? You evolved to live in north America, I know for a fact there's no way you can't find a goddamn ear of corn." So you can feel it and you're like, "Ima run to the vending machine and get a Pepsi, maybe it'll shut the fuck up if I give it some high fructose corn syrup. That's got corn in it." And it does shut the fuck up. For like an hour. And then you wind up see-sawing like that until you're 80lbs overweight because you have to weight so long between meals.
Not that I'm obsessed with my weight or anything.
But I do need to lose weight though.

I don't feel any problem with 3-meal-a-day life, I'm pretty healthy and in nice figure so to speak.
I guess our body can adjust to our life style and as far as I'm concerned, it takes 2 to 3 hours for your body to digest the foods you eat, and there is a energy reserve system in your body? I believe your body can reserve and release energy and it can also control the blood level by itself.
The Chinese may steam bread, dumplings and rice but they fry almost everything else.
Corn or Soy oil....
The diet really isn't that healthy.
