Why Do People Write NC/R?

I mean... you literally write NC/R. You just don't put it in that category, and it's NC/R against men.
I never thought of it that way before.

it's clearly harm being done to a person that does not want it in a sexual context for the titillation of the reader.
I suppose nothing is lost in that meta-interpretation of it.

I've talked to other women who've suffered abuse who say they find it a way (both writing and reading) to interrogate their feelings about what happened to them.
I've never considered this, either, but it makes sense to me. Thanks.

I wrote some bespoke NC fiction for a couple whose female member had that v common fantasy. She apparently enjoyed it immensely, but I stopped writing such because it was not fun for me. IRL rape is terrible, to be sure. I’m not going to judge; this place is all about fantasies, not reality and there are all kinds of things here which are utterly unrealistic.

Women can rape men. You have a strong woman overpower a man, his fear takes over, and the man gets a fear stiffy.
True (in spite of what my libfem health teacher in high school "taught" us).

That's not what I do in my stories, though, to be clear.

Let’s assume, like a certain feminist professor in the writings of a popular science fiction author, someone was hypnotized into enjoying it by an alien feminist named Krak.

Why doesn't this happen when watching horror movies?
I wrote a story about a man being used by a woman against his will. There is an example of a woman raping a man in a movie with Denzel Washington being raped by a prostitute while he is begging her not to do this.

Please, my dear lovecraft, enlighten us with your serious reply.
The topic is something I take very seriously even when discussing it in the fictional fantasy sense, which is what's here, but NCR also has serious societal ripple effects even in stories and motivations of readers and authors.

Because of that I'm not wasting my time to have it turned into gifs, snark and the giggling alt army that will eventually make its way here.

You peeps have fun, this dog's going to go lie under a tree somewhere.

Well, alrighty then.

Rape..... Is rape....
It a violent act it is not about sex.
Rape includes beating, broken bones, cuts bruises, STD's... Great trauma...
Talk to somebody who has been raped...
Ask them is they enjoyed it....
I wish you luck
This is not a personal attack against anu single person, or kink shaming...
I am simply saying, Rape is an act of violence against anothr human being....
Their livs could be ruined forevr... The harder they fight, the more physical harm they receive...
There is no lubrication. Women's vaginas are cut and cruised, which might destroy thir chances of having children...
That is rape....
Trying to sexualise rape is not fair to the millions of women who have their lives destroyed every year....

Cagivagurl

No one here is arguing it isn't a serious issue. We are talking about the fact to post a rape tale here they must have the woman enjoying the act. Or as it says, getting something out of it. But the rule is so ambiguous as to have little to no meaning.

I'm apologize about my crack on Last House on the Left. There was nothing even remotely sexy or erotic in the rapes, murders, or revenge in the original movie. I didn't watch the second one.

I have a gang of Non-consent...in several different forms. Honestly CNC doesn't interest me that much.

I write because while we can agree that Consent is sexy as fuck, The darker side is as enticing as ever. I find it hard to write a story about women in workplaces, offices, colleges, sports teams without the very realistic instances of Sexual harassment and assault.

I enjoy exploring the line of consent; yes's that turn into no's. Shoving it in before she can ask for a condom. Waking up with a dick in her mouth, unwilling men and aggressive women, too drunk to say no (consent), that all turns me on. But I already know I'm a sicko. I masturbate to that scene in Once upon a Time in America.

Well I find that rather disturbing.

Your wisecrack was somewhat funny, at least. I don't think that serious discussions must be devoid of all moments that lighten the mood. But I didn't start the thread.

Like Mary, this disturbed me. But, you're free to enjoy what you will.

The original I Spit on Your Grave is an extreme example of revenge for rape. I don't think actually acting out the act of revenge would lessen the hurt. Writing about a person's rape and even about revenge is different than acting on it. There really is no closure, just different means of coping with what happened.
