Why do people think that I'm in the military?

Why do I always get asked by people whether or not I'm in the military?

Other than occasionally wearing camouflage shorts, I don't have the appearance of someone in the service.

Perhaps because I am 6'3, strikingly muscular, and sometimes wear green or brown clothing, I look like I'm in the army/marines.

marines > army

Exactly.

The army is the easiest branch of the military to get into, which is why it is FILLED with people who screwed up in high school, welfare babies, ethnic minorities, poor people, gang members, and convicted felons.

This branch of the military is an alternative job market for people who screwed up in school. The air force, marines, navy, and coast guard are much more stringent in their ASVAB requirements because a lot of their jobs are highly technical and scientific, such as math, physics, and engineering.

When one starts smoking at age 4, these things happen.

Towering over 4x2 small trucks isn't much of an accomplishment.
