I addressed all of these issues except for SCOTUS. Still, an incumbent Harris would make her campaign legal and legitimate.

SCOTUS is a big one. Your "explanation" requires a perfect world scenario. Which we don't have. Again, the GOP will fight to delay and we will lose ballot access in multiple states. The swing ones. And that will make Trump the winner.

If you think for one instance that SCOTUS will play fair, well 2016 ended that illusion.

If we wanted change then we needed to be involved long before this. About 20 years ago. This is the result of an apathetic electorate and no amount of wishful thinking will fix it.

If President Harris cannot get a VP ratified by the MAGATs, could she continue without one? A VP doesn't have much to do after all.

The main task would be to ratify the next election in 2028. If there were no VP, the hand-over (if the Republican party could transform themselves back to a proper electable position again) could not take place and Harris would be President for life.
