You made a point about gendering me. By saying “….yet another nervous, indignant, emotional etc pick your poison man.”
-No big deal but that’s what prompted my comment about not being misogynistic. My gender isn’t an issue here.
Yes you are a man. But that statement isn't calling you misogynist. It's calling you a nervous, indignant, emotional etc man.
I addressed all of these issues except for SCOTUS. Still, an incumbent Harris would make her campaign legal and legitimate.
SCOTUS is a big one. Your "explanation" requires a perfect world scenario. Which we don't have. Again, the GOP will fight to delay and we will lose ballot access in multiple states. The swing ones. And that will make Trump the winner.
If you think for one instance that SCOTUS will play fair, well 2016 ended that illusion.
Who could argue with incumbency?
This is willful ignorance. White men don't care about incumbancy when it comes to women. In fact they'd find it an excuse to get rid of her.
Do you think that men will suddenly vote for a women when almost 70% of them voted for Trump? Do you really see that happening?
I explained what I believe about Joe’s fitness. I’m not basing my opinion on anyone else’s analysis. I have considered it and addressed it.
Not really. You've equated him to a potato and said that we are telling you not to believe your eyes. As if eyes don't fool us and our brains don't misinterpret, or that we don't gain new perspectives. You've made your assessment and your assessment is that Joe Biden has already failed cognitively.
I’m not being dismissive about your concerns, only your support and faith in an old man who is showing obvious traits of cognitive decline.
Yes you are. You're putting your emotionalism over pragmatism. Just like they did in 2016. You're so "concerned" that you're not even taking the obvious route. Elect Joe, get Kamala. Re-elect Kamala once she's proven herself. If you think a woman will make it to the white house at this time without a VP slide in then you are being dishonest.
President Joe Biden is still notching wins for the American public and citizens. For "cognitive decline"... heh, there's a lot of folks who only wish they could be so able.
I see decline in Trump too but I never had faith in his fitness. I have great respect for Joe Biden.
I get that. But you don't have an understanding of reality and the logistics required to swap Biden out. This isn't a game of go fish or even 5 card stud. There are deadlines, filings and a lot of legal issues involved.
But the biggest one of all is that there is no consensus for a different candidate. None. And while we fuck around dealing with this emotional response all we are doing is shooting ourselves in the foot.
If we wanted change then we needed to be involved long before this. About 20 years ago. This is the result of an apathetic electorate and no amount of wishful thinking will fix it.
This is our bed. We made it. Don't get pissed you don't like the sheets now. It's a bit late for that.
