I guess the reasons I come here have evolved over the years. At first it was naive curiosity, and not knowing what to expect, I wasn't looking for anything specific. I did a lot of perusing the playground, ampics and some stories. I found a couple folks that I enjoyed pm-ing with, that eventually lead to chats. Some I became rather close to and comfortable with. That lead to an explosion of exploration on the boards, chats, etc. I even did an ampic thread (that is now dead). But now, I come and visit or post when I've got time, or when I'm looking for pics or a certain genre of stories. I have my favorite places and threads that I visit. But overall, I've always felt this was a safe place to explore, be open minded, and observe.
