Newbie here!!! For that matter I am new to posting on any discussion boards. I retired recently --- many years in a professional field – still have many friends but as a long time sexual being --- I seem to have lost something of late. It is acutely missed and sorely longed for --- maybe I can find it here. I have seen it in some of the posts I have seen – Why are you here!!

I'm a newbie to the forums myself. I've actually been a member of literotica for a while now, but mainly just to read stories and listen to some hot audio

I just submitted a short story yesterday and waiting on it being approved.

But besides that I'm here as something new to keep me occupied. Being single has serious downfalls!

I don't have a yahoo messenger and have never done Skype --- I could sign up for messenger -- easily but will have explore skye -- I think is some type online viewing/phone service -- never done it --any info appreciated.

I believe that's regarding the number of posts you've made. Once you reach a certain point, you can change it, I believe.

I like your avatar --- Checking personal profiles helps get to know you folks but I am slow at it -- I can see I have some work to do ----- A question here --- are this profiles mainly reality or imaginary -- or maybe it does not make difference???

Thanks to those who have replied to my initial post. I should clarify why I posted. It shouldn’t come as a surprise. Retirement and aging changes how people relate to a person, I have experienced much in life but the retirement and advancing age are new. I have always been a sexual male and that has not changed. I have been through the marriage, children, divorce etc etc ec ----. So, why am I here – some anonymous sexual fun, maybe make some friends, explore a new phase of my life and sexuality, a safe place to be honest with my thoughts and desires. I will probably realize more reasons but for now that is enough. Again thanks and hope bump into again in the future.

Profiles help - I tend to use what posts an individual has made as a better judge.

Sort of the difference between a CV/resume versus an interview.
