My thought was some well educated person with manners would reply with an astute response and the correct author. Wrong on all counts, with your post at least.

Now, as to regarding the person and his point of view as fascism, I would dispute that simply by the meaning contained therein which is decidedly right or conservative thinking, promoting a society that works and pays its way, and will distribute their earnings as they see fit.
The behaviour some people are currently displaying is true fascist behaviour. The progressives that desire to cut off all opposing views (such as most universities in the US today and their students) as well as the rioting, destruction of property, and accepting money to organize from billionaire globalists and paid protesters; as well, the lack of response to racial organizations (BLM) wreaking havoc in the country through illegal demonstrations and encouraging sedition is nothing short of textbook fascism. In addition, their hero Obama who did his best to destroy freedom, has now (today) come under scrutiny for allegations of illegal surveillance on politicians, judges, and prominent business people. All of this is where fascism evolves from: exactly the left wing progressive agenda we see manifesting itself in the US today.

The right wing will unwind as much of that lawless behaviour as possible as well as attempt to cancel the ideology that there are no opposing views worth considering.
And that is anti fascism.

I don't think they hate the poor. The Republicans toss the poor enough crumbs so that the poor believe they will eventually have an entire slice. That distracts them from realizing that not only does the crumb tosser have a slice already, but they own the bakery as well as the government that prevents anyone else from building a bakery.

Easy answer to why Republicans hate the poor because the Republicans see the poor as worthless and should fall over and die in a ditch is their mentality. The Republican's don't realize that the poor face far greater hurdles than a rich Republican that just wants a tax break. On Trumpwad when he says "healthcare for everyone" he just means the rich the rest don't count. All of this will come tumbling down like a stack of cards it's just a matter of time when.

It would have been a very backward place in comparison as it was in the old Soviet Union, where even into the late 50s and early 60's there were neighborhoods on the outskirts of Moscow and beyond that didn't have running water or electricity and still living with 19th Century technology. Communism stunted the growth of societies where it was employed, as it does today in the backward places where it still governs unreformed.
