I disagree that the majority of GB posters are "dangerously insane." Many are well balanced. Some are dangers only to themselves. Nevertheless, it is true that on internet forums many posters revert to adolescence.

By the time one becomes an adult, and certainly by the time one hits the big three oh, one usually learns that the way one wants to behave is frequently not the way one should behave if one wants to keep one's job and maintain good relations with friends and relatives.

Because the worst thing that can usually happen on an internet forum is that one can be banned, some posters reveal ugly aspects of their personalities and characters that those who know them in their real lives are not exposed to.

I live in a military & military retiree town. I've been around military people all my life. Army, Marines and Air Force, enlistees and officers alike. Republicans, too.

There are a lot of people on here who claim to be soldiers or ex-soldiers and no matter how many times they try to "prove" it with pictures and bullshit, their behavior simply contradicts what sane and intelligent people do in the real world.

Now on the other hand I have shown some of this shit on here to my friends from time to time and we all seem to agree that some soldiers get PTSD and that can really scramble the brain in odd ways. Vetteman would certainly fit the profile of a PTSD victim. We (you, me, anyone who's watched the news) have seen news stories of some soldiers flipping out on return from Iraq and going on shooting sprees, and obviously Vetteman hasn't lost it that badly. To be truthful, military nutjobs far worse than him are out there; thankfully they're rare, and maybe Obama-care will include access to more psychiatric treatment for our vets instead of carrying on Bush's policy of discharging them and letting the ones with scrambled eggs for brains just stumble back into society...

The non job creating tax breaks were and are Obama's plan to create jobs. The Republicans had nothing to do with that.

The reason they attached their support was the inclusion to continued tax breaks set to expire.
