That comment is spot on.

Unfortunately that is part of the fantasy. "Daddy's little girl" isn't as big of a turn on at 26 as it is at 18/19.

Most mother/son stuff has the son young as well.

The incest category I see that has a little more age variance is brother/sister. I have read some good stories where the siblings are older and life experiences bring them together.

I have a series which flashes back and forth with the siblings being 20/18 and "present" where they are 38/36

No doubt that the reason is weighed toward the youth of the daughter, but you also have to consider the age of the father once you bump up the age of the daughter.

You're talking about 50s or later, and that starts pushing the plausibility/arousal barrier for a lot of people - both readers and writers. The more stroke-material centered the story is, the more you push that boundary on both counts.

The same holds true for mother-son. Siblings can both be in their 30s and not tweak that barrier, so you'll see more of those.

I admit to writing the mom's as sexy cougars and my couple of dad stories the father is in good shape.

If the daughter/son becomes 30 mom/dad are fifties and I do not find it sexy to write about sagging breasts and love handles and beer guts and thinning hair.

Erotica, especially incest, transcends reality so I keep the parents looking young and fit. That does not work when they are approaching 60

That's the one fun thing about writing "step" stories for amazon the step mother/father can be much younger even around the age of the son/daughter and that's where them being in their twenties thirties can be fun.

The older father is hard to imagine for them because he's more physically limited, but they ignore the more well-developed paternal instinct of the older man. Neither one of these characters is naïve at this age and they share more of an equality. Afraid you're in a pretty severe minority. If you look at the comments, the vast majority of the readership in the category demands the physical. They're fine with the other aspects of a relationship -- within limits -- but if it's not consummated with sex, things are not going to end well in your comments section.

Then you start running into the issues of the father's age again. Regardless of little blue pills, there's a shelf life on that particular appendage and the hormones that drive the desire to use it ( or engage in any other sexual activity ).

The overwhelming majority of the readership is simply not interested in a purely romantic, chaste relationship. They express that without hesitation, and that discourages writers from producing those kinds of stories.

It's much easier to remove the blood ties, shift the story to Mature or Romance and not deal with the harsh commentary. The story can be just as taboo ( a guy and his best friend's daughter, for example ) and little changed from the original concept.

And regardless of the "erotica" part of the title, this is first and foremost a sex story website.

I'm nearing completion of a tale with young sibling incest (she's 20, he's 18) that will move to mother-children incest a couple years later (mom will be 40 then) and follow them for maybe a decade. No father figure here -- he ran off with a Thai stewardess when the kids were little.

And I'm working on a father-daughter inadvertent-incest account, based on true events -- she was adopted as an infant, now encounters the older man, and doesn't know yet that he's her biological father. Here, she's 32, he's 50. Maturity and life experiences are factors.

In both of these, the physical sexuality will be vastly important, of course, but will just be a part of the exploration of relationships. I'm not really interested in generating strokers where the fit young parent seduces or is seduced by their sensuous child. There's more to life than that.

I was surprised by the naivete of your question, and then I realized you were female. You can try and try, but you will never understand the male mind; nor, despite trying and trying, will I ever understand the female mind.

The human male is an animal. And by that I mean animal in the true definition of the word, not pig like or some other derogatory description (although that might be true in some cases ). Humans are animals, and it is in our nature to want to perpetuate our species, to breed -- not just fuck, as in a purely pleasurable sense, although the reason fucking if pleasurable is to ensure that we continue to do it and perpetuate the species.

The average male animal begins fantasizes about female animals -- yes, you are animals, too -- long before he evens know what his dick is for; and the female animals he typically fantasizes about are near to his own age. Of course, if he's going through puberty, she is, too, and since that means that she's <18, we don't talk about that here and shouldn't!

Back to your question: why are the Father-Daughter RPs about barely-18 year olds? Because we aren't allowed to write about "girls" who are <18! If it wasn't morally repugnant to talk -- or in this case write -- about such things as incest or sex with minors, let alone incest with minors, you would see a thousand RPs here on the topic.

Generally speaking, young female animals are -- compared to their older counterparts -- innocent, unclaimed territory and that excites a male animal to no end, father or not!

A real father who is going to fantasize about his daughter is going to begin those fantasies years before she reaches 18; and those men who are interested in RPs about incest -- father or not -- are going to write them about a daughter who just turned 18 because that's real. A father (or other man) who wants to write a father-daughter incest RP doesn't have his first thought about such things when his daughter reaches 25 or 30 or 35: he was having those thoughts when she was 15 or 16 or 17. But, as I have said, it is repugnant, immoral, and illegal to discuss such things, so that's the last I will say of it.

Now, to add a little about my own preferences. Sure, I like a young, tight body; and sure, I like to write incestuous RPs; so obviously I am interested in writing RPs about a daughter (or other family member) who just turned 18. However, I also like very edgy role plays, and I would LOVE to write one about a mature daughter who, for reasons we can discuss, begins a sexual relationship with her 50+ year old father. I can see her recently divorced and needing sexual release with someone she can trust; or maybe her father is fucking around with an 18 year old and she wants to show him that true pleasure rests with an experienced woman and a forbidden relationship.

That is reality. But it is also sexual abuse, child abuse, statutory rape, pedophilia and incest name your laundry list of charges.

But that is what most cases of r/l incest are. Child abuse(I do not believe incest ever factors into the charges they do not need it)

There are not too many r/l incest cases where initial contact was past the age of 18. If you have refrained past that point, you will continue to do so. That is the Westermarck effect.

But on lit the encounters are 18 and over and I feel not just to satisfy site requirements but to take the "edge" off it.

There are two categories here on lit that are real life crimes. Incest and non consent(rape) Rape is portrayed here even more brutally than in real life for the most part, but incest?

Incest "lit style" is not just 18 over. Almost all the stories are consensual and a little fluffy. Many love an aspect of romance. So it is really quite far removed from the distasteful real cases of incest.

As for the age being 18? It is a simple porn trope The hot to trot slutty daughter wanting to get in daddy's pants because well, its the porn world.

Another note of interest to me is the different portrayal of mom/son and dad/daughter.

Mom/son many times the mom is either instigator or if the son is interested a more than willing accomplice. Why? Because its more difficult to see a mother raping a son. Taking advantage of sure, but its always seen as "Oh, mom is hot!"

In dad/daughter many, many stories are the daughter as the seducer and I think that is take away the aspect of rape a father initiating sex with a daughter would denote(even if the author is not attempting that)

I think far and above any other category the dynamics of incest are intriguing.

I didn't say good or bad(well, it would never be good) I was making some points on why I think ages are what they are here on the story side of things. What people are willing to acknowledge as fun versus reality.

I've had my day of role plays here and once had a woman get quite put off when I refused to RP on yahoo with her as her being a 13 year old girl and me being daddy.

Long long ago, I plotted an SF story about a family containing twins, triplets, and quadruplets, all telepathic. An interesting plot device, but I had an impossible time with "suspension of disbelief".

IMHO a "preggers at 15 tradition" scenario is in a similar bind. Good luck.

Also, since you've gone underage, why set the mark at fifteen? Why not thirteen? This would allow even more generations of sexually active kin. The youngest girl has just been knocked-up at 13; her mama is 26, grandma is 39, great-grammer is 52, and great-great-gram is a fit and feisty 65. And of course, each of those could have a younger sister or three.

If disbelief is no problem, then they can all be bi-incestuous too. Imagine the possibilities...

This isn't my thread, but I feel obligated to point something out since my post above seems to have led to the current conversation.

Literotica does not allow sexual role play involving minors <18 years of age. Period. It doesn't matter whether they are normal, telepaths, aliens, of whatever. If your characters are humans living on an alien planet with a year twice as long as Earth's, and you say that your character reached the age of consent at age 9 (which is half of their true Earth age of 18, of course), you still can't say anything sexual about the character. You risk having your thread AND ID yanked for RPing it.

We have strayed off the original question. The question is why are the fathers diddling their barely 18 year old daughters and not their 30 or 40 year old daughters? I think I answered that above, so I won't go over it again.

But, before I unsubscribe from this thread, I wanted to state an opinion about the relationship between the words/concepts of "incest" and "immoral". Incest and immorality are not synonyms! You may personally think that incest is immoral, but once upon a time -- and still today in some places -- people thought sex between partners of different races was immoral; that sex between partners of different religions was immoral; or that sex between partners of the same gender was immoral. Those are just opinions, opinions from people with closed minds.

Now, sex between partners of the same family might be illegal in some states and countries, but if they are of the age of consent, is it immoral? I don't think so, but I'm not going to tell you what you should think.

You go back far enough, and we are all related to one another. So, where is the line dividing who gets to fuck whom? Third cousins twice removed, second cousins, first cousins, siblings, parent/child? Who gets to make that call and why? The reason relatives as close as or closer than first cousins aren't supposed to fuck is because it can lead to pregnancies that include birth defects and other undesireable results. But that doesn't mean it's immoral!

Is this a trick question? Many of the stories writing a central character as eighteen are written by those envisioning them as under that age (and read avidly by those of the same imagining) and just trying to circumvent the posting rules here. Let's get real.
