Why are all of my spacings changed in "Story Preview"?

Hi. I have not submitted a new work in a while. Doing so my usual way (copy and paste from my gmail compose page) now has taken out all of my dialogue and other spacing. What do I do? Thanks.

Are you on the Preview page? Down the bottom, select Edit, and go in and enter all of your para breaks again. When you're drafting, always put in two para returns at the end of each paragraph - the Lit format needs two to break.

What EB said. And html strips out any extra spaces between words.

You might want to use something different than your email compose page, something like wordpad which is included in all Windows versions. Or you might want to download Open Office or Libre Office, both free open source Word look alike programs.
