No that's wrong. The UKdoesn't stink and Tony is not a pile of shit. He does have a major problem though...

He's losing a lot of credibility at home and a lot of trust in Europe.

People are beginning to see him as an opportunist who does a messenger boy service for Bush baby.

It's only because he's got such a vast majority in Parliament that he can get away with it but being the opportunist he is I wouldn't count on him standing "shoulder to shoulder" with America anymore.

He's got what he wanted from Bush's "war" - an international reputation. Now Europe won't move in any direction until Blair nods his head.

Meanwhile on the home front things are progresively getting worse..

I was wondering when you were going to have the guts to post to one of my threads again you little toe rag...

Right explain yourself...

How have I?

My humble opinion:

ALL politicians are opportunists.

I think Mr. Blair is standing side by side with America not because he is an opportunist twit, but because it is the right thing to do. Many Brits were killed on Sept. 11th too, and let's face it, the USA is the most powerful country in the world. Powerful people are better to have as friends. If Blair did not stand by America's side, people would bitch because he didn't. He cannot make everyone happy.

To your statement of "Things are getting worse on the homefront..." Respectfully, I say this: Then get up and do something about it. Also, please explain how things are getting worse on your homefront? I am not being sarcastic, I really want to know. I am not in London anymore. Unfortunately my stay was short, but I will be back soon.

He's got what he wanted from Bush's "war" - an international reputation.
My Opinion: How can one be the Prime Minister of one of the most powerful and influential countries on Earth and not already have an international reputation?

Now Europe won't move in any direction until Blair nods his head.
Hmm, that makes him smart, doesn't it? Or that makes all of Europe a flock of sheep?

Respectfully,

Although I respect you as a writer and always enjoy reading your stories, your comments on this subject can be likened to the proverbial pile.

Tony Blair suffers from the same disease that Bush does. Verbal, unco-ordinated, uncontrolled verbal diarriah. He says what he thinks the people want to hear. He's a soundbite man.

Remember when he made his "shoulder to shoulder" speech. Nobody knew he was going to make it, least of all his own Cabinet. Did you notice also that the UK didn't exactly put 100% effort into finding bin Laden? Oh yes we fuelled a few planes in mid-air and we had our naval task forse on standby. But we didn't actually do anything apart from having a couple of hundred special forces on the ground. But that's nothing new, they've been infiltrating that area for years.

So there's Tony talking solidarity with America and there's Tony sitting back and doing fuck all. What does that look like to you?

To me it looks like someone who's hedging his bets to see which way the wind blows. Bush baby being the idiot I've always thought he was instantly grasps at the straw of friendship Blair offered him and made our Tony a roving negotiator for the "war".

Tony gained instant recognition as an internatuional statesman and is relishing his role to this very day.

Meanwhile back home on the ranch we have National Health queues growing longer by the minute, riots in our cities over race and poverty (1 in 4 kids in the UK live below the poverty line), educational standards dropping to the point where employers are tearing out their hair to find someone halfway decent to work for them, a creeping of the old negative equity disease, people, living rough on the streets, a rising crime rate in the serious crimes area and many more problems than I care to list.

Tony had no intention of giving unrestricted support to the USA, Tony only wants what is best for himself...

He's still a Socialist, don't forget that, but a socialist more in name than deed...

:(
