Tensions build and tempers are bound to flare in a wolf pack. Especially those wolves are a)missing their alpha and b) humans some of the time. This pack needs to pull together and decide whether they keep up the search for their alpha or is it time to find a new leader?

Name: Amelia(Mia) Contello

Age: 19

Human Appearance: 5'7", approx 200 lbs, D-cup, short, thick, red hair, brown eyes.

Wolf Appearance: Average size for a wolf, red-brown fur except a white patch across her chest.

Bio: Mia was sent into a forced transformation at the age of sixteen. The death of her mother, an only parent and Mia's best friend, spurred a rather violent transition, including a painful, near death experience at her first shift. This whole event has always caused Mia to be a little introverted, except with her older brother, Marcus. However, with the Pack in a panic, is it finally time for her to step out of herself and step it up into the role of leader, or should she let another take her place?

Location

The setting is going to be modern day in the Upper Peninsuula of Michigan. Some of the Pack spreads as far North as Canada, but most focus will be on the core of the pack.

A little background on the "Pack"

Unlike some wolves in today's fantasy reading, these wolves are a lot more like shifters rather than weres. They are not controlled by the lunar cycle, rather, they shift at will, or if threatened, their bodies force a shift. They may also revert from one form or the other to the opposite if ill or wounded.

These are shifters whose wolf form is that of an actual wolf. No unnaturally large beasts or ones who can talk, although when in wolf form they are linked telepathically to each other.

Name: Viden Greymane

Human Appearance: Age 24, 6'0, 255lbs, caucasian, dirty blonde hair, Gray/blue eyes, muscular.

Wolf Appearance: Average size like most wolves other then a massive chest with shoulders to match. Dirty blonde fur with a white muzzle. Yellow eyes.

Bio: The Greymane family for decades have been the influencial power in controling the town aswell as the pack of Madison Heights, Michigan. In recent years, Rodger Greymane has fallen ill and eldest of the blood has now been called to take fathers position. Born fifth of nine, leaves succession in this lifetime for Viden short. Not that he has ever wanted to lead the town or pack anyways. At times, the thought of how it could be as the alpha has ran thru his mind.

It was late one night and Viden decided to sleep under a tree as a wolf. As a man, dreams have never had trouble finding Viden. Never had a dream found him as a wolf. In the dream a mountain that hides in clouds, speckled with orange glowing flowers stood in the distance. One by one the flowers dimmed.. eventually dying out, a sadness could be felt. Something about the mountain tugs at Viden. He has seen it before... but where. Couple days passed, each night Viden decided to sleep as a wolf. Hoping the dream, or another would find him to no avail. A day came and Viden decided no longer would he wait for the mountain to find him. It was now time he found the mountain.


Lightning forks thru the clouds of the night, outlining a mountain ahead with each flash. A crack of thunder follows shortly after each bolt. Large drops of rain fall lazily from the sky.

*Running at a controlled stride thru the rain, in thought* (How long has it been? I dont know anymore. So far from home. It doesn't matter. Why is it I don't desire my human form? I am free is why. Am I free?) *stops suddenly nose in the air*

Build: Athletic with slight definition.
Hairirty Blonde - Shaved short 1/8" to 1/2" depending on season
Eyes:Blue
Scars or distinguishing marks: Scar across right cheek roughly 3 inches in length ragged edge. Numerous scars across back ranging from 1/4" to 1 1/2" appear to be from animal attack. Chippewa tribal bands around both arms and family symbols down right leg outside.

Length: 6'4" Muzzle to tail
Fur:Black upper coat with gray.tan under coat

Scars or distinguishing marks: Large scar on right side of muzzle roughly 3" in length. Bare band of skin rear right leg roughly 1" wide.


Born into what remains of the Chippewa tribe left in Michigan. He was raised from birth in the tradition of his people. It was known at birth that he possesed the wolf spirit, but was hidden from him until the was 12 years old.

At age twelve he began his survial and mental training. At age 16 he was allowed to take the spirit walk. He was sent into the wilds with a knife and the clothes on his back. He would need to survive for 6 months soley on his skills and knowledge in order to become a full member of the tribe. During the 4th month he had the misfortune of straying too close to a pack of coyotes and they set upon him. It was during this attack that the spirit called to him. The coyotes struck from behind and tore into his back knocking him to the ground. As they regrouped for the killing blow he felt the spirit enter him and saw the world through new eyes. He was able to fend off the coyotes but suffered a blow to his right muzzle as a result of the fight.

He proudly carries the scars of his accent into manhood to this day. After his return he found a new life with the pack. He finally found peace in his life and soul. That was all about to change when the pack alpha suddenly turns up missing.

Human Appearance: 5'5", approx 140 lbs, Long, black hair, Green eyes. Always manages to find a trench coat when he is in this form.

Wolf Appearance: slightly smaller than average size for a wolf, solid black fur.

Scars: Long jagged scar over left eye appears in both forms

Bio: Leon was born different. Ever since the age of 12 or so he learned he could become a human if he wished it. This led him to be cast out by his family pack. So for years he wondered around the world learning about human life. He still embraced his inner wolf but did hate his pack for casting him out. Lately he had come upon the Michigan area looking for any of his kind that did not hate him for his special skill.

Bio Will McConnell was a quiet unassuming man that many would say was just ordinary. But the secret of his past he kept under secure wraps, this being that he was shifter of unknown parentage. Orphaned at the age of three found at the scene of a presumed animal attack. No living relatives were found to claim him, thus he became just another kid of the Foster system. Never fitting in with any foster families that took him in, until a old couple from a small clan of shifters discovered and quickly adopted him. Early onset of puberty revealed what he actually was, luckily his foster parents well capable to explain it all to him. Introduced to pack culture Will began fit in and actually thrive amongst his own kind. Following in Robert and Karen McConnell's footsteps Will studied to become a game warden for the National Forest Service. This kept him in the close vicinity of his clan, thus Will could continue his duty to safeguard his kind.
