Any Good Guesses yet?

Anyone beginning to show signs of rising to the role?

Whats your thoughts?

I just know I'm going to regret this....

Why are Bush supporters so determined that the Dems are going to try to tie him in with Enron? Am I missing something? I've seen a few articles mentioning that Enron was a large contributor to Dubya, but nothing I would consider really "going after" him. Enron was a debacle, but it was an economic debacle, not political. 90% of what I've heard is Republicans building this straw man of Democratic persecution.

Canada must get a dfferent version of CNN that the USA does. Cause On my CNN up here on channel 17 Rogers Cable, The Dems are doing nothing but trying to tie Enron to Bushes Arsehole.

Like I say, I must be getting a different CNN than youse guys

That might explain it. I don't watch CNN. I do, however, visit their web site quite a bit. Lead story today is Bush's new plan to protect 401k's, because of Enron. Hmmm...... doesn't make him look bad at all. A search of the site finds ONE article that ties Karl Rove (Bush's lead political advisor), to Enron, but no mention of any impropriety by Dubya himself. Hmm... I don't know, maybe I should start listening to all those talking head's interpretation of events.... Nope, I think I'll pass.

From the site:

"Hearings are unlikely to find a "smoking gun" anyway. Apparently, the Bushies had the presence of ..."

Again, no mention of any involvement by Bush. Lots of rants against the Republican support of Big Business, but nothing about real suspicions of White House complicity.
