Richard Dreyfus is one of my favorite actors. I enjoyed this season opener last night and will most likely make it a Sunday night staple along with "The Practice".

One of the questions he asked his students was

"What are you willing to die for?" And I am posing the question to Literoticans. Aside from the obvious (your child, your family) is there anything important enough to you to give your life?

Besides my family-
My country, under the right circumstances....
My religion, and the freedom to practice it the way I choose. (which could fall under the first thing too)

What about you, TN_Vixen? you didn't answer your own question...

To answer my question (thanks Poker), I imagine I would be willing to lay down my life in support of issues such as freedom of speech, freedom of choice, basic civil rights - if these were being threatened or violated by our gov't, I would take a stand to support my position regardless of the danger that may result in speaking my mind.
