There might be one or two others who know these "celebs". As a very young girl I had a crush on Tim Tyler (of a serialized show set in Africa) and The Cisko Kid (a Mexican on prime time in the 50's). Later when sexually conscious (though pretty ignorant) Elvis and Buddy Holly thrilled me.

p.s. don't bother PMing me, I will not betray Colly's secret. :p

Probably somebody in "The Seven Year Itch" but I never knew her name. MM also, from the same movie but as part of the intro to the movie there was a VERY sexy Indian woman, who said nothing and was never identified but was pursued by a mob of horny men. I thought she was even hotter than Marilyn and that is saying something. Since the unknown woman wasnt really a celebrity, I suppose I would have to say MM.

John Travolta, as Danny in Grease.

I was five years old, ffs!

Lou :D

The first one I can remember is Shawnee Smith from the Who's Harry Crumb movie with John Candy. There was probably some before that, though. As a toddler I was always found behind the couch with my dad's Playboy magazines. :) Some things never change. Now I hide behind MY OWN couch. LOL.

That is so cool. I forgot about Zorro (as a crush), saw the others too. Wow, we have a common "culture" after all.

Perdita

In retrospect, I think I had a crush on Kate Jackson, but I was too young to really know what a crush was... I remember watching the Charlie's Angels show (it was a rerun even when I saw it), and the only face I can remember is hers.

:) Common culture is all around us Dita, we just have to want to know about each other enough to look for it and expand from there :)

Funny - I don't know if it was a crush, but the infamous Farrah Fawcett when she was a Majors photo was on a t-shirt. I also had a thing for Jaclyn Smith and refused to put on my pajama's on until AFTER the show was over. I was frightened that they might see me from the TV set.

Was completely in love with Debbie Harry though, and Andy Gibb seemed to decorate my walls for a few years. And strangely, I had a thing for Jon Voight after seeing Deliverence - lol - joking! I think it was Midnight Cowboy. Little did I know I'd enjoy looking at his daughter years later. ;)

For some reason that jogs my memory- Remington Steel (Pierce Brosnan), also the Duke Boys (esp. Bo), Danny Zuko from Greese (John Travolta) John Cougar Melloncamp, Mr. T  and one of the biggest crushes ever -thoughout childhood- was on Gary Coleman. (No pun intended) I still like him (he's only about 2 inches shorter than me anyway;))

The big 'You made my adolescence a true sexual awakening' award goes to George Micheal. Yes, yes, madly and truely. I'll love him forever... (don't bother telling me he's not my type)

Julie Newmar as Catwoman,
Dianna Rigg as Emma Peel.

Bit of a pattern emerging in that little seven-year-old sub...
