Who is your favourite villain?

Roger Stone is a pretty good villain. Nixon's dirty trickster. 😎

Anton Chigur
And carrying on the Cormac McCarthy theme, The Judge from Blood Meridian

Dr. Manhattan from
Watchmen ( Yeah I consider him to be the main villain )

Sigh. I want to like Watchmen. Granted, I've only watched the film and I really should read the graphic novel.

My problem with the film can be summed up like this.

Zack fucking Snyder.

The amount of projects that should have been amazing that he has fucked up baffles me.

I agree with you partly. The comics are better than the movie. But I still like the movie as well. Besides, the score of "Sound of silence" is haunting.

And Rorschach as the character is tragic but moving to me. I think Snyder overdoes it at times. Man of steel and subsequent ones were crass projects, but 300 and Watchmen as movies were two of his projects that I liked. 300 was for cinematography but Watchmen was for the script(yeah though that credit goes to Alan Moore) and acting and the music.
:D
That reminds me, have you watched "The Lego batman" movie?

Visually, he nails it. He should be artistic director, not the actual director. The same applies to Ridley Scott, with some obvious and notable exceptions.

Lego Batman was amazing. Stupid but amazing.

Hellooooo secret camera!

Maleficent ... there's just something regal about her evilness. "Oh, dear."
And if you've seen the Angela Jolie version... she's quite beautiful and deep down has a heart.

True, visual stuff is what he is known for and what all of "Man of Steel" was about. Lol. Hardly anything else. Superman looked like a carved out piece of rock. Immovable, Inscrutable, Unfathomable.

And yeah, but I found Lego Batman quite pondersome as well. Like the bit about his loneliness. And how Alfred was basically his guardian. It was hilarious and also super sad. That bit about him being indifferent to Robin always gets me. Poignant!
A goodie if you have not heard this.

And Superman killed Zod.

Just...NO. No no no no no.

Fucking Snyder.

And yeah! I've heard that, love it!

Yeah, it all felt so convenient right from the beginning. And what's with that going around smashing stuff? Granted they are basically Gods. And don't get me started on the other two movies.
I have read DC comics a bit, but the movies feel very different. I prefer DC over marvel, for the grit and humane nature, but man of steel just takes that away from me, when I watch these movies.

I actually...didn't mind Justice League. But you could tell what work was Snyder and what was Whedon. It's terrible, don't get me wrong. Kinda fun terrible though.

Wonder Woman. Now that was a great film...it felt like Marvel though.

Batmand vs Superman though...holy shit. That was rough. Went to the cinema and came out utterly confused at how they managed to fuck it up so much. I tried to watch it again about two months ago and gave up after half an hour.
