Who is the author follower you are most proud to have?

I just noticed that I actually have authors following me, and several of them are from (or claim to be from) Australia which is incredibly cool because it's fun to speak with Australians and learn a new language. Looking at the characters in my dad's Welsh ancestry I'm surprised I didn't end up Australian, I could have enlisted in the RAAF instead of being haunted by them for 20 years.

That being said, I'm proud to have @Rustyoznail following me. He's not prolific but he's there helping with and hosting events, quite active here in the Author's Hangout (he might be elsewhere, but I fear to tread the forums outside of AH)

Mark out moment today.

I got my first follow from someone I follow today. A prolific author across multiple categories, one with their own website and such.

I got all excited like a schoolgirl with a shiny new vibrator.

I appreciate 99% of my followers whether or not they are a writer. The 1% are the ones who are following 3000 other writers as well as myself. Maybe not 3000 but you know what I mean.

Yes, those "block" followers make it all seem very production line-ish. Aren't we all meant to be special? ;)

I don’t have a favorite, but it made me think. Do any of the top 20 authors follow me. So I went and looked. Only 2 do, but I know one other has commented on my stories.

How is reaction score determined?
It's based on the reactions you receive to your posts on the forum I suppose? (I think "like", "love" and "haha" each count for one point, and "wow" for nothing, and maybe "sad" and "angry" are negative? or also zero? IDK I never got those last two).

I think the negative ones count too, its still a reaction.
As expected when I first saw they'd added this, any woman who posts in the fetish, personal, or picture forums have counted well into the thousands already

There should be a drooling dog reaction emoji

Agree to disagree, wow can be what the reactor wants it to be. From me, WOW might mean I loved it, hated it, or was stunned by the comment. WOW is, when I use it, a strong response. I don't always define what my WOW is, but if I also reply, you can glean what the WOW is all about.

I’ve said this before, negative comments are fans. I have negative commenters who follow me from story to story, read them, and quote them in the comments. That’s a fan.

That's perfectly valid, but that's not how the site counts it.
I have 459 reactions - 336 like, 79 love, 36 haha and 8 wow - and a reaction score of 451. The math seems pretty clear, the wows aren't counted in the reaction score.

I think not, or at least the wow don't. So I'd be surprised the sads and angrys would count.
(And yes a fair lot of my likes and loves are reactions to my picture postings in the Cmnf/cfnm thread).

I am a rookie, so I dont have many period.

But

Farmboy. I would actually call him a friend We email back and forth and it was hit pushing that got me to submit a story.

Cali-Love. Although she is new too, what an amazing author

I get a lot of of weird/good/negative feedback from anons, but when I get feedback from Lit published authors I go over the moon. Those comment seem to matter 10x. Many, many, thanks to you that I’m referring to, you know who you are. Cheers!

I'd have to give the nod to Privates1stClass because I received a lot of encouragement from him when I started out.
