Who is the author follower you are most proud to have?

I have another active thread now regarding “followers as a success metric”? But I thought it would be fun to learn if there is an author or authors who follow you, who by doing so provide a special pride based upon your admiration of their work? I’ll start. I’m fortunate to have a few. ChloeTzang, Cockhole, and Stormbringer are all IMO worthy of Mount Rushmore status in the IR category—I follow each of them and am very proud they do the same. But the one who probably stands out the most for me is thecryptkeeper. I have been a huge fan of their work in Non-con for a long time and then to be followed by them out of the blue in the same category was inspirational. How about you?

Sorry, but I'm not going to answer that. I would not want to single out anyone.

But your question did make me look through my list of followers, and made me wonder, does anyone know what happened to LoquiSordidaAdMe? They haven't posted in a couple of months.

In the moment no one that stands out-no offense meant to anyone here- but in the past it was when the departed Alwayswantedtoo faved me.

Hopefully just life, it gets busy sometimes.

I couldn't answer that, and I wouldn't if I could. I appreciate everybody who has followed me or favorited a story or said something nice about something I've written.

Elliot Mabuse, who is long gone and probably has had his follower list zeroed out. But he was about the most literate commenter while he was here. (I subsequently became his editor at the Lit-member-generated Excessica publishing house, but that's gone now too.)

If Kate were here she'd want something about being trapped by a powerful sadistic family and being forced to breed, and genetically altered to only be able to smile, and live on a diet of lettuce to never gain a pound.

In other words....non fiction.

I'd have to say I consider all my followers equal. In the same way, my adoptive father says he loves all his children the same. I am sure he loves his natural children more than me, or maybe I fear he does, but he treats us all the same. I have so few followers on this site; each one is precious to me. I wouldn't wish to hurt any of them by saying one was more special to me than another.

The last spotting I had was this story:

Loqui's most recent story

He's had bad writer's block - he also did a recentish collaboration with Blind Justice (IIRC) as a way of breaking through that.

I'll join the chorus of "I value all my followers and I favor none over the others" (besides, the vast majority of mine have no stories of their own - I always check, and I will confess to being delighted when one turns out to be a fellow author!). Having said that, my second-ever Lit story got a glowing review from LunaEroticaMystica at just about exactly the time her health problems got in the way of participating here. That remains especially near and dear to my heart.

Yeah, Always cool when someone who writes follows you. Haven't been followed by anyone that blew me away, but I'm still a novice to this stuff.

Won’t single out one, but it makes me happy that some of the writers who inspired me to start posting on Lit are now following me. A few have even become friends/chat buddies.

I do follow some of you guys. But not on my account on my wife's account. We read stories together sometimes at night before we retire for the evening. Or sit in bed reading on her laptop. I don't think I have followed or liked a story on this account.

The ones that have led to conversations and collaborations. You could say connection is what I'm most proud of. So... ScottishTexan and Mepher, in the main. Putting together A Very Toofy Christmas with Mepher was probably some of the most fun I've had writing on this site.

Like most, out of the 800+ people following me, only 36 of them have submitted stories or poems of their own. In the end, my most admired and favorite followers are those that provide feedback.

I ran through my list very quickly and it looks like roughly 10% of my followers have published one or more works. I'm quite happy when any published author follows me and I'm also happy to have become friends with a number of them.
