For a while I think I did, but have only recently started posting again. I've seen some with 100s.

Not sure of numbers

but my guess would be Smithpeter, who has a list of poems that stretches for miles (or so it seems). I passed the 100 mark myself recently, but I don't think I have anywhere near as many poems as he.

Yeah, SP for sure. I'm approaching 100 myself.

Poems Posted

I am at 109 poem posts, but most are "quickies" that I don't really count. They are just results of my continuing attempts at humorous minimalism.

Senna Jawa is well over 100 I believe.

Ah, but what I find really remarkable (although I do recount, this is with a good wine buzz :D) is that those with so many submissions are also those who are really top notch as poets. arn't we are so glad its not "joe-sucks-at-poetry" with 5000 poems that none of us would dare consider reading....

For which, I, for one, am awfully glad....

I would imagine it is smithpeter. I did a member search on him awhile ago to find a certain poem and at that time he had well over 400. Isn't that incredible? Talented man.

Just a thought, but

isn't the quality of a poem more important than the quantity of poems posted?

As Always
I Am the
Dirt Man

Time fades coloring to every shade of gray
nothing’s pastel, nor is everything in black
and white as it once was so well defined.
The good and bad of it now breathless
their energy spent, their shouting outdated
to little more than a fashionable whisper now.
The fire, and passions sitting out on the curb
flipping the bird to every passing yuppie.
~
The stories told, and bold faced lies
of green trees lit by fire flies
and snow in dazzling urine wine
the breath given the last known sigh
and Christmas day has slipped on by.

It sure is, and the astonishing thing about Smithpeter is he writes wonderful poems in vast quantities. And if that isn't enough, the bum is a nice person too. :)

Read JUDO, Senna Jawa, and Wicked Eve, for example, all poets here who, like Smithpeter, are prolific producers of wonderful poems! I thought of these folks off the top of my head, but there are others, as well.
