I wonder what, if anything was done about the bar owner or bartender for serving somebody that young. If she had a fake ID card, everybody should have been let off.

I don't know about the bar owner, but I agree that the guy got screwed. If my memory is serving me correctly today, the girl even testified on the guy's behalf and said she gave consent and testified that they had met in a bar.

Man gets 90 days for having sex with 13-year-old

A 20-year-old Cheviot man was sentenced Thursday to 90 days behind bars after pleading guilty to having sex with a minor.

Ralph Hollandsworth pled guilty to one count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.

Hollandsworth has already served 45 days of the sentence, but was also sentenced to three years probation and must register as a Tier 2 sex offender for the next 25 years.

A Tier 2 sex offender must register every six months. If Hollandsworth violates his probation, he will have to serve 18 months in prison.

Hollandsworth admitted to having sex with the 13-year-old girl, but said he thought she was 14.

The case came from Ohio and the sentence was apparently the product of a plea-bargain.

The other one was in Florida. I was under the impression that it went to trial, but I don't know for sure.

Only 90 fucking days. 18 months if he fucks up.

I think you need an age range. If not you may end up putting an entire class in prison. I think it ought to be peer group. If the kids are in the same peer group, usually within 3 years of each others age, it should not be against the law as long as there is consent.
