Whistleblower

Because Barr is dirty as sin .....

"Justice Department lends its firepower to defend Trump in investigations into his private finances
The Boston Globe | Fri Oct 04, 2019 20:44 UTC

In at least three recent cases, the department — led by Attorney General William Barr, a Trump appointee — has intervened in lawsuits where President Trump has personally sued those investigating him."

He didn’t even investigate the wb complaint. Yeah, this isn’t going to end well for Barr.

Every AG since Bobby Kennedy has been considered dirty as sin because it’s a political appointee and has always been seen as the president’s personal lawyer. What else is new.

Thank you. May I have another?

The official has more direct information about the events than the first whistle-blower, whose complaint that Mr. Trump was using his power to get Ukraine to investigate his political rivals touched off an impeachment inquiry.

A new complaint, particularly from someone closer to the events, would potentially add further credibility to the account of the first whistle-blower, a C.I.A. officer who was detailed to the National Security Council at one point. He said that he relied on information from more than half a dozen American officials to compile his allegations about Mr. Trump’s campaign to solicit foreign election interference that could benefit him politically.

"...the Justice Department under William Barr has apparently become
the private lawyer for the President — the Roy Cohn — that Donald
Trump has been looking for from the start. Rather than investigate a
matter that obviously has merit, Justice Department officials are apparently
willing to look the other way. This is John Mitchell all over again, and it’s
inexcusable."

Barr would be wise to look back at how Mitchell ended up.

right now, the biggest thing trump has going for him is the fear amongst his supporters that if he and pence (since t's so kindly dragging him down with him) are booted from office they might well be looking at the spectre of nancy pelosi as pres.

they'd rather eat their babies than see that happen

Might? If Trump and Pence get booted together, Pelosi WILL be president. Which, since the process is political, is why the Democrats need to make an accommodation of some sort with Pence to let him be president for a year with the understanding that he doesn't run for the office. He'd nominate a Republican VP for that time and the Senate would confirm and if Pence reneged, he's also already guilty of the same stuff Trump already can be booted for and could be impeached as well.

But it's just a nonstarter to expect anything to happen with a Republican-controlled Senate that would vacate the presidency down to Pelosi.

Holder Openly Pledged Loyalty To Obama, And Nobody Seemed To Care

Neither will be removed by Mitch's Meddlers. Get used to that notion. Donny could shoot Mikey on the White House lawn in front of the entire Press Corps and Mitch wouldn't let him be removed.

The best thing that could happen:

Donny resigns.
Mikey and Mitch get booted next November resoundingly.

Even the left-leaning Post knows it's a set-up:

Sam Stein: “Have you heard from the whistleblower? Do you want to hear from the whistleblower? What protections could you provide to the whistleblower?” …

Schiff: “We have not spoken directly with the whistleblower. We would like to. But I am sure the whistleblower has concerns that he has not been advised, as the law requires, by the inspector general or the director of national Intelligence just how he is supposed to communicate with Congress, and so the risk to the whistleblower is retaliation.”

This is flat-out false....

Schiff on “Morning Joe” clearly made a statement that was false. He now says he was answering the wrong question, but if that was the case, he should have quickly corrected the record. He compounded his falsehood by telling reporters a few days later that if not for the IG’s office, the committee would not have known about the complaint. That again suggested there had been no prior communication.

The explanation that Schiff was not sure it was the same whistleblower especially strains credulity.

Schiff earns Four Pinocchios.

G. Kessler, Schiff’s false claim his committee had not spoken to the whistleblower, Washington Post (Oct. 4, 2019).

Look over there! Somebody LIED!

Yeah, shit happens. Trump lies constantly and the boot licking republicans say nothing.

Sold. Out.

Perhaps, what is needed is for someone who has not seen that video clip to overhear someone that has and become a whistleblower to report that they heard that someone has seen a video clip of Crazy Uncle Joe bragging about getting a Ukrainian fired by threatening to withhold US military aid.

The Bidens: "Stone Cold Crooked"

by Francis Menton ("Manhattan Contrarian")

"...In April 2014, Biden’s son Hunter Biden joined the board of directors of Burisma, at compensation of $50,000 per month (or $600,000 per year). (Some sources put Hunter’s compensation even higher.) Hunter Biden had no previous experience in the energy industry. The $600,000 per year is far more than companies of comparable size typically pay for directors. The younger Biden continued to serve on the Burisma board all the way into 2019...

...In March 2016, at the time that Shokin was seeking to arrange the interview of Hunter in the Burisma investigation, Joe Biden explicitly threatened Ukraine with the loss of $1 billion or more of U.S. loan guarantees unless they promptly fired Shokin. Joe Biden has openly and publicly bragged about using the threat of withdrawal of the U.S. loan guarantees to get Shokin fired. At this link you will find a video of Biden speaking at an event put on by the publication Foreign Affairs in 2018. Here is the key quote: “So they said they had—they were walking out to a press conference. I said, nah, I’m not going to—or, we’re not going to give you the billion dollars. They said, you have no authority. You’re not the president. The president said—I said, call him. (Laughter.) I said, I’m telling you, you’re not getting the billion dollars. I said, you’re not getting the billion. I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor [Shokin] is not fired, you’re not getting the money. Well, son of a b-tch. (Laughter.) He got fired.”

After Shokin was fired, the investigation of Burisma/Zlochevsky was dropped or at least suspended...

...The truth is that that list of facts would be, in any courtroom trial, sufficient proof that the Bidens are “stone cold crooked.” Why? Because they are easily sufficient to support an inference of corrupt motive. First, everyone would understand that the hiring of Hunter at a ridiculous premium rate of pay by a company that was almost certain to become a target of the new Ukrainian regime, and immediately after VP Biden took charge of U.S. diplomacy in Ukraine, could only have been because the owners of Burisma viewed it as protection money..."
