actually, every single time I've gotten the flu shot, I've gotten a nasty nasty flu. The years where I didn't get the shot, I either didn't get sick, or didn't get it so bad.

I normally have a vicious flu right around Valentine's Day. Honest. I missed so many little valentine-and-candy days in grade school it wasn't even funny.

I missed out this year, by some miracle. But now one of my steprugrats has it. I give myself about 72 hours before it starts coming out of both ends.
