When talking about the female genitalia in slang, which do you prefer pussy or cunt? I prefer the word pussy but talking to a friend of mine, she found that word rather offensive and prefered cunt. So not wanting to offend too many, I'd thought I'd ask to see how what the majority thought. I'd do a poll, but I can't seem to get it to work.

Personally the word "cunt" puts me off a little bit. Depending on the story that is... in a d/s story use of it is ok... or with a 20 something male speaking. To each their own is what I say. Use of "cunt" does not keep me from reading a story though...

Generally, I use the word 'pussy'. There are times when writing dialogue where 'cunt' is appropriate, but otherwise, it's a pejorative term. At least in American English.

I find pussy to be by far the more appealing of the two terms. I can't recall that I have ever actually said cunt myself. I try to restrict my use of cunt in literature to first person/dialogue instances where part of my intent is to portray the speaker as insensitive, aroused, or both.
